Our group of coworkers stayed for two weeks. The house and property are great, but things like kitchen cabinets need maintenance or repair - many cabinet doors were drooping or nearly falling off, the master toilet doesn't flush well, and some lights, notably the stove hood, didn't work. The house just needs a thorough going-over before it's in top condition. It also feels like the property management company is oddly and needlessly stingy: the heat is on a manual timer so it was always cold when we got home after a long day of work, there are no fitted sheets and the king flat sheets aren't big enough to tuck in; there were only a few dishwasher detergent tabs, a tiny sample container of dish soap, two sample laundry detergent packets, four kitchen trash bags, etc. Yes, I know these supplies aren't guaranteed by the hosts, but when we're paying many thousands a week, it would be nice to feel that the management appreciates our presence, rather than resenting spending just a few more dollars on consumables. I'm not here to steal or waste your dishwasher tablets, just leave the box instead of pulling out four. That said, it was a very comfortable stay and we had no actual problems on our work trip. There was always hot water, and the views absolutely can't be beat.
