“We chose this place to stay as it was fairly central to many of the things we wanted to do (caves, jet boats, hikes, Rotorua etc) but we wanted to stay somewhere rural and quiet. It is a beautiful property and cottage. There is a Berry farm right next door that does fresh fruit ice cream which is delicious! The property posting said there was laundry available but didn't mention it was 10 per wash/dry...would be good to add that detail for future guests. Would definitely stay here again!”

“We were delighted to start our stay in NZ at Brooke and Charles’s place. Immediately, we were taken by the many birds singing and otherwise general quiet of the property. It is a working farm, so we enjoyed the chickens and cat wandering by. The patio offers a perfect seat for the sunset. The mornings offer views of fog settled in between the hills. The location is a short drive to Otorohanga and the Waitomo Caves area. Brooke was communicative and kind. ”

“I was a bit leery about booking this lodge since i dont usually stay at motels. I booked it because there weren't many options available in waitomo and from what was available, this place had the best rating and looked ok. Thankfully, I was pleasantly surprised once we checked in. The room was spacious, very clean, had a kitchenette, good size fridge, lots of toiletries. We were able to use the laundry room ($4 NZD per machine). Check in was easy. Very friendly and helpful front desk staff....
