“The historic home is in a great location in a beautiful lakefront neighborhood and worked perfectly for our family reunion on the lake. The house is classically beautiful inside with a comfortable, relaxed feel. The hosts were very easy to work with and extremely accommodating.”

“First Trip to the area. The property met all of our needs in terms of basic amenities and has a nice view of the lake. The location is good....it is a short drive to get into town (Neenah) and an easy drive to Green Bay. Overall, very satisfied with the property and stay. I/we would recommend this property! ”

“This was our 2024 family vacation with people from ages of less than 1 to 83. We throughly enjoyed our stay. There was ample room for all with enough bedrooms for those with littles to have privacy for naps. The three season room was great for evenings to enjoy the sounds of the lake without getting bit up. A few of us even slept there. The yard is great for games and gives the kids room to release all their energy. The rainy days were not an issue with plenty of room for fun in the game...

“This property was very comfortable, akin to a modest hotel room, without the nuisance of noisy guests all around you. Very quiet neighborhood. Easy to get into the house. Great instructions, easy to follow. The house was clean and tidy. Had everything you would need to stay longer than we did. We were very pleased with our experience.”

“We had a such a wonderful time at the Appleton property. It is in a very quiet neighborhood. The home was very large, well decorated and made us feel at home. It was so nice to not live out of suitcase. It had all to conveniences of home, dishwasher, washer, dryer, large kitchen and two bathrooms. A very large family room, formal dining room and formal living room. The four bedrooms were very comfortable. We look forward to renting this property again when we are in the Appleton area. ”

“The home is beautiful and has plenty of space for the whole family. The sunsets were amazing and became a daily event to stop for. The fishing was great. We landed a 9 lb. catfish and many other big fish (Perch, blue gill, Bass, and Catfish) without leaving the dock. And close to some great restaurants and orchards.”

“My family (9 adults) stayed at Sunset Cove for the weekend to attend a family wedding. The house was very comfortable, roomy, and full of all the amenities a large group would need. The neighborhood was so quiet and peaceful, and the view was lovely ... A bird watchers paradise. The host promptly responded to all questions and issues. My family and I are hoping to return next summer to further explore the lakes and outdoor activities.”

“We rented for a holiday family gathering and it was perfect for what we needed. It had everything we needed and more! There was plenty of space and supplies. Lots of games for the kids and adults! The deck and patio were beautiful to sit and relax. ”

“We wanted a place to stay not too far away from Green Bay and this worked perfect! Near the interstate but far enough removed from the bustle. The place was just perfect for our family. There were 9 of us ages 7 years all the way to 76! Enjoyed the paddle boat, had a fire in the fire pit, played card games on the deck and corn hole. When it was game day, we were only about 45 min away. ”

“We enjoyed our stay tremendously, plenty of space, comfortable and clean. The location on Lake Winnebago was more beautiful than we could imagine, the view was fantastic, morning and night.”

“The house was very spacious! Our team was really happy to be able to stay all together instead of spreading out in a hotel! And less expensive! Very easy to communicate with the owner. The only reason I gave only 4 stars for location/neighborhood was the parking. We had 7 cars so had to shuffle around a little so we weren’t parking on the side of the road. We were laughing about how big the closets were upstairs, they were like another bedroom!! Awesome place to stay for a bigger group!”

This is a large, older home that has a shared driveway, which was fine for the one car we had. The home is charming and well decorated. The window treatments, however, were very sheer, which did not provide much privacy.
