"Westmorland hotel is a no brainer as a stopover for the 10 hr journey to the Scottish Highlands. I have not met such friendly and helpful staff in a long time. The room was vast with great views. "The place is absolutley perfect just one thing let it down and that was the bathroom!!! very disappointing as we’d stayed at 2 hotels prior and the bathrooms had walk in showers, shame as that would of made the hotel 100% will return in the hope there’s a walk in shower"

what an amazing place
"This property is quirky in all the right ways and it's everything you need. The hidden rooms behind the bookcase is such a unique touch and it's somewhere I will definitely be looking to stay again. I will say this though.. take extra clothing because the description is right....it's certainly nippy ..."

Lovely little gem.
"Had a wonderful weekend away and this little gem is in the heart of the centre which is great. Very compact&quite small but very cute. Parked car opposite on paid carpark. Decor is beautiful,bit dark for applying make-up ladies and had trouble 1st day with no hot water but within 10mins it was sorted ..."
