No power, no heat to spa

No power until after dark on first night that caused my niece and nephew injury. No spa because they hide the additional fee in fine print. Not enough supplies for 20 people, no compensation for our troubles. Will never book through VRBO or the property management company again.

very frustrating stay

The layout was great, well stocked kitchen and plenty of towels. Unfortunately, that was the only good thing. We have young kids whose goal is to swim all day why we booked this house/paid for the pool heat. Immediately we noticed the pool heat wasn’t working and contacted the property management. We had another issue with the house that was quickly resolved and when the maintenance staff came, they looked at the pool, saw an error code and sent a picture to the owner. The next 3 days were messaging the PM about the pool only to be told “the community pool is heated” In the 7 days we were there, no one came to look at the pool. The community pool - while very nice, was PACKED with people. There were no chairs available and you couldn't bring in food/drinks. It also closed at 8pm. We asked about moving houses - no. We asked if we could move houses on our own and be refunded for unused nights - no. The only thing offered was a POSSIBLE refund on the extra fee we paid to heat the pool. Finally we contacted VRBO directly and they were able to get the extra we paid for the pool heat refunded and an extra compensation (equal to one drink at the community pool/person). While it may not seem like a big deal to others, not being able to use the pool greatly impacted our stay. It was the primary reason we rented the house and to be dismissed was extremely frustrating. Would not recommend. (also the toaster is still broken - this was mentioned in a review from November!)

Great House for a Group Retreat!

I rented this house for a staff retreat for our church staff. Huge house with plenty of space and beds to accomodate our group. Large dinning room table for eating, large open areas for meeting and planning. The community has a beautiful waterpark (we did not get to enjoy due to our schedule) and felt very safe and secure. Would stay here again for sure!

Avoid if you need pool heat during the cold months

We travel to Florida to play flag football for our national tournament every year. The hot tub is essential to us. That’s the biggest thing we need to make sure our bodies are good to go the whole weekend. We didn’t have a working hot tub last year and our bodies were extremely tight. The first thing I asked about was the pool heat. I was told the houses are new so the pool heat works great. We get there and yes the place is really nice and clean. Basic stuff and nothing exotic (themed rooms with games) like another house we were renting down the street. Turn on the jets to the hot tub and wait an hour and its still cold af. Had to call them 2 times and text them 3 times to get the pool guy to come out. He was there for 3 minutes and I get a call saying the pool heat is turned on and its working fine but it’s a heat pump so it draws heat from the outside and pumps it into the pool. They said if its cold outside it will only reach the temperature of the outside which is WRONG. It would need to be 100 degrees in order to heat the hot tub to it's comfortable temperature. Makes absolutely no sense. On top of that, the 2nd house I was renting down the street worked just fine with the same heat pump system. The houses are the same dam model so why is it this one needs it to be 100 degrees for it to be heated to a hot tub temperature? I asked for a refund all weekend and I didn’t get a response until the last day saying there will be no refund. We ran the jets the whole weekend and

Annual Family Vacation

This was an awesome stay for my family of 17. The property was clean, comfortable and very convenient for us. The resort amenities was an added bonus to this property which provided something for all ages to enjoy.

Amazing stay!

First let’s talk about the Host: A+. Second: The house was absolutely spectacular. ❤️ I was a little nervous about renting because everything is not what it seems on the pictures. But I can tell you this house was spot on and more. Every room was beautiful. Everything was super super clean. We was nothing but in awww! 😍 We definitely will rent again!!! ☺️
