Horrible Experience
Check in was March 29th at 4pm, we got there a little after 5pm. When getting into the property we did an inspection. Blinds were missing from every window leaving no privacy whatsoever. Air condition didn’t seem to work properly, along with the internet. The cleanliness of the property was not ideal. You could tell the dish soap was refilled and had new sitting on top of old, there were two different colors, there was brown stuff on the paper towels, hair all in the sinks & showers along with on the bedding. We reached out to the host shortly after checking in with no response. We ended up not staying and was only there roughly 15 minutes. We reached back out via phone and messages advising we were not staying, again with no response. We reached out to VRBO to let them know what was going on and to open a claim. We were supposed to stay from March 29-April 3rd. We finally heard from the host on April 1st advising they received the claim and would look into it. Contacted VRBO on April 3rd and were told that the host was out to dinner, to reach out to them after an hour. Called and left a voicemail. After not hearing back nearly 24 hours later, we contacted VRBO again and was told that the host would be reaching out. Finally on April 5th, the host contacted us and tried accusing us of actually staying at the property and being the ones that messed up the linens and bathrooms. Stated refund wasn’t possible since we didn’t cancel on time. Horrible customer service & property.
