Would not recommend
The house was a huge disappointment. It largely smells like mold. It was extremely drafty which made our visit very cold. They do mention roosters next door however they down play the fact that they start making noise at 3am and keep going until 9am. Overall we would not recommend.

Not our favorite stay
This property was clean but there was a musty odor. The bathroom sink stopper broke so that it would not drain and we had no response from the property manager. The second bedroom is much smaller than it appears in the pictures and had no side tables or lamps.

We were very pleased with our accommodations. The home was very clean, spacious, quiet and relaxing. The host was quickly responsive by text once on site. One of the nicest places we ever stayed. Will definitely rent again!

Almost great
I would have rated everything five stars except the beds in house are the worst I have ever experienced. I was in the area to play in a golf tournament and the beds were so bad (i tried two of them, the master and the room right off the master) that I had back spasms while I was playing. The last night I slept on the couch and it was no better. I would not recommend this home to anyone because of the beds. I stayed Monday night at the Holiday Inn Express, had a decent night's sleep and my back was much better, but it took a couple of days to fully recover from the experience I had at the House in the Woods.

It was well stocked and we were able to make meals when at the house. Possibly a few more paper goods would have been helpful, but generally wwe were pleased.

Weekend at house in the woods
We are planning to book again, probably January. The house is spotless clean, has everything you need, well stocked kitchen. I should probably note the pans are all Teflon. Nice laundry room. We loved the rooster that lives a few doors down. Neighborhood in not scenic , but it is quiet, and safe. Victor is very responsive and nice to work with ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ host. Our only (minor) complaints are: no grab bars in the shower and no hand rails for the steps. We are women of a certain age. So this is probably not an issue for the younger set. Over all very comfortable, cozy and well appointed. Good strong WiFi.

Perfect for our needs
We were in town for a softball tournament and the location of the house was perfect. Having 2 bathrooms and a laundry room was key given that it was mid 90’s the whole time we were there. Kitchen is well stocked with good utensils. All in all it was great and we would look to stay here again if we are back in the area.

Loved the inside of this house. It was clean and had everything we needed. The direct yard outside was very nice too. However, didn't expect to share a driveway with a somewhat junky mobile home.

We had an amazing time. First off, the owners were very easy to communicate with. They let us drop off our luggage a couple hours early and hit the town! The owners even text and ask if we need extra firewood! I read the reviews and he came over and jumped a vehicle off with a dead battery. Who does that!!! Super nice. The house was very well appointed. 3 bedroom 2 bathroom, all granite. I did not need anything while I was there. Kids made an outside fire in the fire pit. What a wonderful weekend getaway. I cannot say enough about this owner—/ oh yes, there was even donuts waiting for us!

Beautiful gem in the woods
Although the area wasn’t what I had hoped for, the house is just as pictured in the listing if not better. It is very welcoming and beautifully decorated. The house had everything needed for a weekend getaway. We were in town for a family wedding. It was nice to have space to hangout in between events and get ready. The kitchen had a nice layout and everything needed for breakfasts and lunches. Everything was very clean with nice linens and towels. Several air purifiers were running when we arrived. The hosts offered nice touches like muffins on the counter, candy in jars and coffee service on a sideboard. The hosts were also very responsive and helpful. Overall, a very nice property.

Wonderful stay
Very clean and comfortable accommodations. The private patio with fire pit was a wonderful touch to spend evenings with family during our stay. Excellent communication made check in and check out very easy as well as prompt response with any questions during our stay. Definitely recommend this property.

Clean and Relaxing
This property was very comfortable, clean and relaxing. The hosts are very responsive and checked in multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed. The neighbors are very quiet and respectful of the people around them. Although they are nearby, there is plenty of privacy at this home. Would definitely recommend this property. :)

We all really loved this place, it was decorated very well and was very clean. The kids had plenty of room to play and it accommodated our group of 6 very well. One awesome touch was the doughnuts the owners left for us... was a def hit.

This house was super clean and roomy. Fully stocked with kitchen supplies. Quiet. The host was very helpful and was quick to respond to any needs. He even came and jumped off my vehicle when my battery went bad. We would stay here again.
