“This place was absolutely amazing—secluded, peaceful, and spotless. Kayaking and fishing on the New River were fantastic! I would highly recommend it, and I’ll definitely be coming back. My only suggestions for the cabin would be to add more silverware, as well as extra pots, pans, and mixing bowls for cooking.”

“I absolutely loved this place! It was rustic and charming. The check-in was so easy, as was check-out. Communication from the owners was terrific. The location was quiet and it was nice to sit on the porch and listen to the creek. The outside of the cabins might need a little TLC. The bonus was the history of this place! People used to come from all over in the late 1800's and early 1900's to drink water from the spring, which was said to have healing properties. The hotel that used to be there...

“To start its a storage building not a tiny cabin. It looks like host or someone is staying there while they are working on house next door. So close you can see in windows. He was working that day, so no peace and quiet. Air didnt cool. Stayed 5 hours and went home. Worst birthday gift ever. Dont waste your time or money.”

“Our stay was Fabolous!!! We mistakenly checked into the downstairs property. The host was very understanding despite our mistake. The property is well maintained and cozy. My kids loved the stagger alone bathtub and the Murphy bed. This is a great quiet place to stay if you're visiting the area. It's central to everything in Mt. Airy. I would highly recommend this property. ”
