Vista, ubicación y privacidad en su máxima expresión. ENORME casa familiar de 6 habitaciones en 3 acres privados a solo 10 minutos del centro de Penticton. Nuestra casa está ubicada en el lado este del lago Skaha, justo enfrente de 3 accesos públicos a la playa y en las principales rutas del vino, rutas en bicicleta y cerca de senderismo, ciclismo y escalada en roca. Tenemos una gran cocina de chef con estufa de gas de 6 quemadores, refrigerador, despensa, isla de cocina de 18 pies, 2 mesas y sillas de comedor, gran patio con vista al lago, bañera de hidromasaje nueva y sala de juegos en el piso superior con mesa de billar, air hockey, TV, Bar y más.

Home Away From Home
Pictures don’t do justice to this stunning private retreat. It was perfect for a multigenerational family reunion. The games room was a hit and there was something for everyone. The large kitchen was bright and well equipped.we were greeted and oriented by our hosts who were in constant but non intrusive contact-just checking in to confirm we didn’t need anything. Highly recommended!

Spacious, clean and comfortable!
Skaha Lake retreat was the perfect getaway for our family of 14, which included four grandkids. The entertainment kitchen was perfect for the family gathering along with double doors out to the outside patio, hot tub, loungers, and barbecue area. Plenty of parking made it a breeze for our family along with a great concrete area for kids to ride their bikes. Spacious bedrooms and large play room for the kids made our little getaway a breeze. Mary-Ellen was a very gracious host, welcoming us and being very responsive when we had questions during our stay. The house was also located on a very quiet street and only about a 10 minute walk to the beach. Thank you for your hospitality and we look forward to returning soon!

Beautiful property and location
The house is very clean and well-kept, despite being a little dated. Master Ensuite shower, with 4 different water nozzles, should probably have an instruction sheet for operation, as it was tough to figure out. Otherwise, zero complaints, we'd rent the property again in the future!

Awesome Location
This property is located in the Okanagan and close to wineries and other attractions. The view is spectacular, the facility is clean and spacious and very comfortable. The property manager was east to deal with and helpful.

Another great Stay
This was our second time at this Skaha Lake property and again we enjoyed our stay. Check in with Mary-Ellen was a breeze. Lots of space is a great feature as are the hot tub and beautiful view of the lake from the large deck. With the summer heat he A/C over all works well through the day although the upper level was a a bit stuffy at night. A great central location with easy access to many amenities. Thanks again for a great stay!

Summer space for 12
Our family of 12 enjoyed our stay at this property. The spacious house is very nice and with plenty of room for all. More shade would be nice for the late afternoon/dinner hour. The house, located high on a hill, was indeed across the street from the lake, but not nearly as close or convenient as we believed it would be. A far superior beach area was located with a 10-15 minute drive. Some excellent local wineries were found very close. Guests will need to be comfortable with taxidermy as it is absolutely everywhere throughout the house.....in fact, one might say òverkill!

Great family get together
We had lots of room for meals and for sitting around. It was nice to have two separate sitting area. TV in one room and our duplo blocks in the other. It was too hot to sit on deck in afternoon. Bedrooms were great except the air conditioning didn’t work particularly well in the downstairs bedroom. It was great in all the other bedrooms.

Everything was great only thing I would say is the AC system was not that great you would cook if it was the peak of summer and we did leave the doors and windows closed. Heating and cooling is what I do a bigger unit outside should be considered

Guys’ Weekend at Skaha Lake
The house was exactly what we needed for a group of 11! The kitchen and barbecue were fantastic, the games room was well set up for a night in, and the hot tub was perfect. All of the rooms were spacious and comfortable and all but one had an ensuite. All in all, it was the perfect place for a weekend away. If you are planning to head in to Penticton and don’t want to drive yourselves, just be aware that it is a bit of a cab ride to get there ($40-$50), but it’s very doable on occasion. Would highly recommend the property for anyone who wants a bit more indoor and outdoor space set apart from the neighbours!

Lovely house, helpful owners, stunning location. Heavy snow didn't dampen our enthusiasm to see as much as possible of the beautiful area, and sitting in the hot tub on the deck in the late afternoon / early evening was always quite special. Fantastic weekend at a fantastic place!
No question this VRBO ticked all the boxes for us. Eight adults and 2 infant and we still had loads of space to spare. Great kitchen to cook and just have wonderful family time. Deck is massive and the hot tub is toasty. The games room is a big plus as well! All in all 5 out of 5. We would not hesitate to book this place again. Thank you Thompson’s for a lovely Place and making our stay easy, relaxing, seamless and carefree!

Great property for a large family vacation. Smoke from fires was present but did not ruin our vacation. Toured many wineries in within a short drive from the house. Some minor issues (shower in MBR did not work, bed linens are starting to wear)
