Fabulous House
We loved staying at Simon's house. It is peaceful and quiet with absolutely everything you need. the beds are comfortable and there really isn't anything that hasn't been thought of. This is the second time we have stayed and both times loved it. It is handy to Christchurch as well as Rangiora. It is beautiful sitting outside as well as watching the rabbit in the morning.

Great stay!
We loved our stay at this cozy home. Loved how close it is to Christchurch but far enough to have a private feel. It’s also not a far drive from some beaches which we really enjoyed. Everything worked great for us while staying at the house and it had everything we needed. The house has an older feel to it with modern touches which we thought was neat. Would definitely recommend the house if you’re looking for a place to stay near Christchurch!

Ohoka Retreat
We needed to leave the city over Guy Fawkes 2-7 november. We booked this lovely looking house in the country 45min; drive from our home. The house suited our needs for bedrooms, it was warm (cool weather happened),well appointed kitchen as we were totally self catering, a great selection of the owner's books, good laundry, lovely kitchen dining, and 2 lounges. What a gem
Our time in this beautiful old home was everything we could have wished for and more. The property had everything you could need for your stay and was so clean, comfortable and well presented. The main bedroom was so inviting and such a comfortable place to sleep. It was truly one of the best homes we have ever stayed in. We will definitely re-visit and would love to see it in the warmer months. Huge thank-you to everyone involved in making our little trip so perfect

Beautiful home
We really enjoyed our stay here. The home is older but beautifully restored and has everything you could need. The beds are comfortable, the home is warm and the kitchen well stocked with all the pets, pans, plates and utensils you could need. The home was spacious and homely with quality linens and bookshelves stacked with a huge and varied selection that made me want to curl up in a comfy chair and read all day!! The location was great for our needs. Rural with plenty of space and a large fenced yard. Overall a fabulous stay. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

Beautiful, private setting
This house has been beautifully updated, retaining its gorgeous period details while adding all the modern conveniences. Although it is close to a moderately busy road, the high fence and vegetation give a feeling of total privacy. The landscaping is basic, but don't be put off by it, because the interior is really lovely, comfortable and sun-filled. A really pleasant place to spend some time, with quick access to Christchurch, especially the airport. A country experience but close to the city.

Beautiful family home
We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful country home. It is clean & tidy, has all the essentials, and a huge lawn for kids to run around and play. The perfect place to just relax and unwind, or use as a home base with lots of things to do and see in the surrounding areas, and a short distance to Christchurch. We especially enjoyed watching rabbits bounce around on the lawn while we ate breakfast each morning. Communication from host/property manager was exceptional. I highly recommend this property for families.

Great Quiet Spot

Lovely Country Home
We had 5 nights staying in this lovely home. On arrival it was freezing cold but with the help of instructions we got the heaters cranking and warmed the place up. Unfortunately the weather was wet so we couldn't enjoy the garden, its big and would have been fun for the kids to play in. All in all the perfect country cottage.

Great family friendly accommodation
This property has everything you could want in a holiday home. Warm and welcoming, comfortable den, lounge and bedrooms. The kitchen is well, presented and stocked with appliances and plates, cutlery and drinking utensils. I cooked a meal for extended family with no issues. We will stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a beautifully presented, warm comfortable home to relax and unwind in. The only complication that we had was no potato masher 😭 Just a note for future maintenance was the back toilet there was mould on the ceiling of the toilet/shower and the extractor fan does not work and paint is peeling around it And also the decking at the back door is a bit mossy and slippery with the rain we had But an awesome stay and beautiful house and property
