My family wanted to visit Pitkin for a couple days to visit the grave of a family member that was buried in the Pitkin cemetery decades ago. This was an ideal location to be near to Pitkin. It was a short drive to the Stumbling Moose for dinner, and we explored the nearby jeep and dirt bike trails. The house really had most everything we needed for a short stay. They had some board games, and the remodeled bathrooms were really nice. The home was really beautiful. The only odd part of the house is the sleeping arrangements are a little weird, the main bedroom has a double bed and a couple bunk beds. You have to access the smaller bedroom through the first bedroom, and it has the twin bunk beds, but they are very small beds, they don’t seem to be standard length. And the fire place wasn’t actually usable. Overall it was a great place to stay though.
