This place looks nice but I’ll never know for sure? I was traveling with my kids and their friends for my son’s birthday and I received a booking confirmation but nothing from the host? We spent the day at Lagoon amusement park and still nothing. After reaching out for a second time, I got a message from the host that “the space was occupied and we would be refunded”. No apology, just that they were confused as to how it was double booked. While I understand things happen, a simple apology and maybe an offer to help us find something else would’ve been welcomed. For this reason alone, I am leaving a less than stellar review. I obviously can’t comment on the property itself. Make sure you hear from the owner in addition to being charged and receiving the vrbo confirmation. I got nothing until after the check-in time and was left to find something else for myself and five kids at the 11th hour.
