“This was the best place to stay! There was a lot of room and a restaurant downstairs! We could easily walk to shops and the Temple was visible from the window. I read up on the history of the place and it used to be a hotel. I could see that layout in the bedrooms and locations of the bathrooms. It was so fun to stay here. We were here for 5 nights and would do it again. The host was very communicative and helpful. There were 7 adults and 2 children in our group.”

“The property owners were very nice and helpful. Check-in was easy. The reference in the listing to a picnic on the beach seems mis-leading. You do have a nice view over the river and we had a pretty sunset but no beach. The house looks nicer in the pictures than in person although it is large and accommodated our needs. There are a lot DIY renovations that pretty odd but didn't really interfere with our stay. Just not as luxurious as represented. I should acknowledge I manage some rental...

“Great place to stay. The Manor House was located in a private setting in the woods on a secluded road on top a scenic hilltop along the Illinois river valley. Checking in was easy and accommodating. The Manor House was stocked with everything you will need for your stay. The decor was unique and well kept. The house was clean in every aspect. By far the best place we have stayed in the Peoria area to date. I hope to stay at The Manor House next year. ”
