I came for a solo retreat and this was a very good spot for it. It was very quiet, well furnished, and mostly quite clean. It has a a spacious living dining/room for a one bedroom. The bed was reasonably comfortable and you have control of the heat in each room which made it very cozy. Compared to other properties it was a good value for the price.
What knocked this down a star for me was a lack of attention to detail:
The location backs to the dunes. I was very excited about this but bummed to find that the property trail was overgrown and I had to go to the next property to use their trail.
The back door, as mentioned in other reviews is very tricky to lock - so much so that you might think it was broken if you weren't up to fiddling with it for a few minutes. The bathtub plug mechanism is coming off, so no warm bubble bath for my retreat... And while most of the home (bathroom, kitchen, living room) was clean I found a dog treat in the spare linens and parts of the bedroom near the doors and windows had clearly not been cleaned in a very long time. There were 4 remotes and no instructions for the television. There was a faux fireplace with no instructions for use.
