We loved the app that we received when we booked. It had helpful information about the suite and Ocean City. The view from the suite is awesome. Beyond that, the experience was not good.
When we arrived, we took our belongings to the condo and returned around 10:30 p.m. the main two doors to the building were locked. They were not locked when we left. We did not receive any information about this code. We contacted Coastal Life through the app and were told that we would get a return call. I had to call them again around 11:30 p.m. and they still did not have the information. Keep in mind that this was our travel day, we were exhausted and it was 1:00 a.m. and we were in the parking lot in our car. Finally, at 1:45 a.m. we received a call from a manager with the code.
On our 3rd day there, when we left the suite, we were not aware that you needed to use the code to lock the door in addition to using it to enter the suite. Our belongings were unsecured for 3 days.
On day 4, construction started above our heads starting at 7:00 a.m. Jackhammers, drills, etc.. We were never notified of construction in the building during our stay. It was impossible to sleep through it. Because of this, we left a day early.
I would not recommend this facility or Coastal Life Management Company. When we travel we exclusively stay in short-term rentals and have never had a problem. On the occasion when there has been an issue, the owners have always been responsive. Not Here.
