“The house was beautiful and clean and in a great location (and smelled great too!). We arrived on Thanksgiving day and were pleasantly surprised to find a decorated Christmas tree lit by the fireplace. The house is a very convenient 10-15 minute drive to Oakland or McHenry. We loved sitting in the hot tub while it was snowing. Our granddaughter enjoyed the arcade game upstairs and was really excited about the bunk bed room. We had a wonderful stay and would love to come back in the warmer...

“Very clean and well maintained. Decor includes interesting items from around the world. Master bed was comfy, and owner was friendly on the phone. “this house is incredible, it is much more spectacular than what you see in the photos, we loved every detail. In this house there is always something to do, there are many board games and a pool table but without a doubt what we enjoyed the most was the jacuzzi. “The place had a perfect unobstructed view of the lake. The place was nice and warm for our winter trip. Comfortable furniture and bed for lounging around. The only complaint we had was when we arrived there was pee in the toilet and on the seat. The first thing we had to do was clean that ourselves not a fun start to the vacation. Overall though it was a good place and would recommend. ”

“Property was as listed. Great restaurants located on the property. Convenient location(driving distance) to get to Wisp resort or hiking trails. The walls were pretty thin, I could hear the conversation next door while trying to sleep one night. Upon arrival to the property we just noticed hair on the couch and remotes when we got there. Overall great place for cozy weekend.”

“We had a good time and the house was very nice. It fit our planned experience. Unfortunately we were not able to get the gas fireplace to work in the game room, which made that area and bedrooms very chilly. We used the portable heater to make it tolerable and lots of blankets. A couple of the sliding glass doors did not open or stuck badly. We made it work. All in all we had a good time.”

“My sister, daughter and I were in wow mode from the moment we walked in the door. The pictures on line did not do justice to the "Million Dollar View" description. The place was very clean, inviting, accommodating and beautiful! Appliances were very updated and snacks and treats were also left on the counter for us. Owner thought of everything to make this as pleasant as it was for us. We will definitely return again. Thank you”
