“Very clean! The outdoor shower was a big hit. My Dad cleaned/trimmed bushes further because we wanted to put it to use. Recommendation: Bushes need to be trimmed back for better access. Burners on stove are tipped. We did not want to adjust those, but made a couple of breakfasts during our stay. Beds were very good. A/C and space heaters really helped. Ice chest was handy - don’t mind fixing a few things - ants were in kitchen by sink - found spray and used it. Bought two blankets for the beds...

“Six of us ranging in age from 29 to 73 had a very pleasant stay here. The apartment is larger and has more character than the photos suggest. The location is a short walk from many good restaurants and taverns. The off-street parking space is right beside the building. Riide shares picked us up at the front door, and the train station is a 10-15 minute walk away. We easily traveled by foot, auto, and train to all points between the apartment and Seaport, the North End, Fenway Park, Charlestown,...

“Gracious hosts with a comfortable, well-appointed home near community favorite spots, beach, bike path and The Commons. Easy area to walk, parking at home is tricky but can easily park one block away. Highly recommend. ”

“Great location as others have stated. We spent our whole trip walking to shops, restaurants, and even the cliff walk and mansions. The place was spacious enough, clean and well appointed. Having off the street parking was great. The window blinds allow light, but keep privacy. Small recommendations…bring a portable fan if you like a fan while sleeping. There were none in the house, nor ceiling fans. AC works very well, but I like air movement and didn’t want the windows open and get too warm....

“My family and I stayed here for our first trip to Salem and it was the perfect spot for a weekend trip! The renovations are gorgeous, my mom really loved the bathroom. And there was plenty of room for all of us. It was easy to get to and is an easy walk to all of downtown. It was very easy to get a hold of the host if we had any questions. Truly a beautiful spot and would definitely stay again. ”
