“Great location, close some excellent restaurants. Easy walk to boardwalk, Scotia Centre and Downtown ( maybe 10 min). Didn’t realize it was a basement apartment ( only 4 steps down from grade).”

The photos don’t accurately depict the apartment. The kitchen is quite old and they don’t show the oven which looks to be at least 30 years old. “Beware, photos can be deceiving - this apt is very worn out and a bit rustic throughout. And that’s not the worst part, though the apt is swept cleaned, the furnishings are dirty with a lot of food stains in the sofa and rugs. We had to wear socks to avoid getting black feet. “Great central location in Pictou county, and specifically, New Glasgow. I was able to walk to restaurants, downtown, groceries, parks. And very quick (<10 minutes) drive to theatres, malls, and Stellarton, Westville, and about 20 minutes to the town of Pictou. The unit itself was very cozy, clean and has all the little things you need to stay comfortably away from home (kitchen utensils, appliances, towels, shampoo, Wifi , etc.) Michelle is a diligent renter, attention to detail is obvious,...

“We stayed here for 1 night, beautiful view of the bay of Fundy. We were travelling with our 2 yorkies, so we really got our exercise, we were on the 3 floor, no public elevator so a lot of stairs, property was lovely. ”

“The building seemed a bit run down on first impression. It was also somewhat difficult to find as the address was number 30 but the house had different numbers at the front. However once we figured it out, the parking was great and the apartment was very nice. We found several places to eat within an easy walk. The host was very responsive. Our only suggestion is the couch in the living room is not very comfortable and sags when you sit down. ”

Unit is in a prior commercial or retail space so not best outside appeal but was quiet and safe while we were there 2 days. Other units in the building. Good value. Clean and comfortable. ”
