Convenient location
We had previously stayed in a different unit in this complex. We were very happy with the other unit and we understood what the set up was like. We were going to Mohegan Sun and the location is very convenient.I was sent notifications that I needed to verify my identity. I needed to submit a license,a photo and either a 15 fee if I chose to have them hold money on my credit card or a 35 fee if not. I never saw anything in the listing about additional fees so I didn’t care for that. I requested an early check-in as we sometimes do and was told it would be a 30 fee.. That’s the first time I’ve ever been asked to pay a fee for an early check-in. I declined and they said the room is usually ready at 3PM.. we arrived in the area about 10 of 3 so we went to the complex to wait to get the notification that it was ready and which unit it was because we were not told that in advance. After waiting until 315 we decided to go to the casino. I kept checking my Vrbo app, emails and texts but never received a notification until 4:02 as to which room and how to get in. Not that big of a deal as check in was 4PM, but it felt I should’ve been told something a little ahead . The apartment was fine, but not kept up such as the old carpeting had bleached stains. The side of the counter had come off, but the worst part was the smell of mold or mildew that caused two of us to have a bad reaction with our allergies little ahead.
