It’s a small lake but was perfect for the kids to Kayak. The he house was clean and the neighbor we met was very nice. “The house on the lake was the perfect place for four friends to spend a weekend getaway. Everything was easy- location, getting to, and checking in and out. The Hansons are great hosts and were easy to message with and answered any questions we had about our stay. While the weather did not cooperate we still had a wonderful time hiking and photographing nature at the nearby Wing Haven Preserve and dining out in Angola. Everything was clean and perfect, lots of great space, and being dog-friendly...

“Despite the lake community having many houses near each other, this cottage felt very private. Kitty, the owner, is great and communicates well. While it was just the two of us, there was bedding upstairs for an additional 4 people. The electric fire insert was nice and warm. Puzzles and two tables to work on them. Not far from town (15-20 min. to Coldwater, MI) or 15 min. Or less to Angola and Pokagon where we hit the tabogan run. Fun fact: it was snowy and cold while we were there but the view...

“We were here for a funeral of a family member who passed too soon and we are all heartbroken and evn though we used none of the amenities (nice kitchen to cook food) evwryrhing was very nice and so muc better than staying in a hotel. We live in Illinois so had people coming and going at different times due to work/life schedules and this worked out perfectly for us. ”

“This was the perfect winter getaway. We visited our nephew at Trine University for his weekend volleyball tournament. The location was a short drive, which made it ideal for a Trine visit and tobogganing At Pokagon State Park. Afterwards, we brought home pizza and enjoyed warming up in the hot tub. Our stay was perfect and enjoyable. The host communicated well and the house was perfect for our stay. Plan to book next year!!!! ”
