They had little experience in what the north west had to offer, so showing them was one of the most enjoyable weekends we have had with them. “Our family had the most amazing time at Brittany’s beautiful home on Old Mountain Rd. We biked, fished, hiked, played golf at Manitou Passage, watched beautiful sunsets at the beach, and played games around the bonfire. Her home is so serene and well stocked with towels, kitchen utensils, and games. We would love to return to her Old Mountain home if we go back to the area. “Loved the campfire at night, the privacy, but ease of location. It was so close to the lake and close to the small town. Kitchen allowed us to cook all of our meals there. We felt like the owners had us in mind when they prepared things. The garage space was a great bonus for staging tubes for the river or for the kids to hang out. Pictures don't entirely capture how much space is in the house. Would definitely stay again!”

“This review is based on multiple considerations. Our niece was getting married in Traverse City MI region. Our group consists of 10 people, a combination of couples and single adults. We spent significant time looking at options that would accommodate our number plus the mix of individuals. We found a nice, wooded Chalet VRBO that met our needs. “Beautiful home, beds/furniture were very cozy, kitchen was decently stocked with basic cooking needs. Also really enjoyed the layout of the home. The walk to the beach was across a busy road, so water access isn’t necessarily right off the property but still easy to get to. I’d say overall a great place to rent - great location!”
