“Nestled in between Franconia Notch and Crawford Notch, this was the perfect place for us as a couple interested in hiking. While there wasn't a lot in the direct vicinity for shopping or eating, this was centrally located to just about anything you would want to do in the White Mountains. Host was extremely easy to work with even when I had to cancel my initial reservation. ”

The biggest issues we had were the heater seemed to shut off on its own a few times due to it needing a new filter. We also noticed the shower seemed to leak all over the bathroom floor which was inconvenient and there was apparent water damage on the wood around the shower which indicated the leak has probably existed for a while. “We had 2 families stay at the cabin(4kids and 4 adults) for an annual weekend trip to Santa’s Village. The cabin was very new and clean. Tons of space for everyone to spread out. The house is 3 levels and there was more bedrooms than we needed. It was convenient to have a full bathroom on each level and a washer/dryer for use.Overall a great experience, would definitely book it again.”

“Several couples enjoyed our stay Veterans Day weekend. Views of the mountains and sunrise were just beautiful. The house is huge and would’ve been comfortable with more people (There were only six of us.) We loved sitting by the fireplace. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was very well-equipped. “We enjoyed our stay at the log home. It was a very chilly weekend, but the cabin was nice and warm even though the upstairs bedrooms did not have heating ducks. There were electric portal heaters in the upstairs bedrooms which we only used for a few hours each night. We will definitely stay at the log home again!!”
