“The place is about what you'd expect from a state park cabin (in comparison). Thin mattresses, basic needs met, small kitchenette. It was clean and had the amenities we needed. We were able to cook a few meals, which was crucial. The location was great. Walking to just about everything. The Internet in Snowshoe is not good, plus there is spotty roaming cell networks. The room was no better. There was no streaming on the TV's. The place was built in 1981, so it has some dated features and...

“Property was great. Conveniently located across from the village. Shuttle picked us up to avoid the stairs to the village. Amazing view of the western sunset off the back porch. Paps was readily available though we did not need him for anything. Overall great place for a ski trip.”

“The stay was good with fresh snow on the ground. Had a small issue with the linens for the pull out sofa bed but the owner was very helpful and they were provided the evening we checked in. Location is great and convenient for a great trip.”

“Not as much going on in the Summer vs Winter of course, most of the building/restaurant closed this time of year. Other places close by had some activity. However it was quiet, and clean. Was there for the Cass Train Ride. Suited us just fine for a place to stay 2 nights. ”

“The condo was perfect for our needs. Location is easy access to skiing and the village. Bonus was the cubbies and all the hooks in the hallway for coats, helmets, ski poles, gloves etc…. We could have used a tea pot or instant hot, but otherwise the kitchen was really well stocked. This condo is a top pick at the Mountain Lodge.”
