This house has an incredible location, it was the only positive aspect of this house. We loved being on the marsh and also just a few blocks from the beach access. This home is 1 block from the Coastal Preserve allowing our young children to ride their bikes to the wooden walk way which offers a wonderful sunset view. Upon arrival there was a large storm that showed the dining room ceiling was leaking. Thankfully we were able to remain in the home for our stay. The home and furnishing are very dated. The couches had many large stains as well as the bed spreads. The beds were not sturdy or secure. The floor was covered in hair, dirt, and dust appearing to not have been cleaned or even swept in quite a while. The ice maker was excellent and kept up with all our needs including stocking the beach cooler. However, there were multiple dirty dishes in the cabinets and loose food (cereal) in the kitchen drawers. In addition the cabinets in the kitchen were a disaster, completely disorganized. The first time I opened them, glass cups and bowls were falling out. The utensil supply was very sparse, including only a few forks. The stove burners were unlevel, making cooking anything a difficult task. One of the bathroom tubs did not drain well. The downstairs outdoor lights did not work. Basically the only reason to rent this home is for the location.
