“Had a one night stay following a trip to Hobbiton movie set. Stayed in chalet Frodo which is only a 10-15 min drive from Hobbiton.The chalet is very clean and well appointed. While quite compact it had everything the two of us required for an overnight stay. We had dinner at Osteria restaurant in the main centre which is only a 3 min drive away. Thoroughly recommend Osteria for quality of food, portion size , atmosphere and price”

“Loved view, comfortable couches, thoughtfulness of kitchen and towels etc, host was warm and great communication. Retracted from society, but also lovely to see the locals actively using the beach for fishing and boating. Beautiful clean linen, etc only let down in that regard was the mattress for my taste.”
