“This is not a 5 star hotel. Expidea advertised AC in the rooms. They tuned it off because the season is over. When the sun beats on the window its 85 degrees. Now way to cool the room. Advertise they no AC in the off season. Would not have stayed. The beach bar is closed. So is the restaurant. We ate at Romeo and Juliet the first night. No one was there. Empty and the server looked irritated we walked in. After ordering and being served a salad, he left. Went home. Told the bar tender his wife...

“Das Zimmer war sehr schön. Ich bin früher als erwartet angekommen und sehr spät erst ausgecheckt da mein Flug erst um 23h ging. Beidesmal ist mir das Management sehr nett und unproblematisch entgegen gekommen. Das Motto war: Wir finden eine Lösung! Sehr gut!.”

"Front desk and housekeeping services were spotless. Reception always kind and smiley, which is appreciated and rare in Romania, in general. Indoor pool and spa areas were really good as well. We had two massages (don't know the name of the lady) and we were very happy with it. Our only but is the room service/restaurant, as we always had to go down to order, despite having the menu in the room. We had a room facing the lake and it was really spacious, with shower AND bathtub, they give you plenty amenities (more than we actuay needed), wich are refilled everyday with the service. As a suggestion, it would be nice to have a mattress topper when the bed is set as double, as you can feel the gap between the twins, which is inconvenient when sleeping with your couple. Surrounding area of the hotel is not bad at all, IF you know the safe route (cross the pedestrian pass closest the hotel and walk by the sea side, to avoid all the traffic), you will find many restaurants, bars and supermarkets not even 15 minutes from the hotel. Overall, very recommendable, very clean and taken care of. Thank you for everything! "
