There were a few toys, dvds, so many amenities including ones we didn't expect to need such as bug cream . They even had vanilla almond milk which was a godsend for our lactose intolerant family. “I was looking for an end of summer getaway for my family of 3 and this was the perfect choice! The house is at the end of a lovely street and breathtaking as soon as you pull up. We trailered an 18’ boat and it was tough to back it in the driveway but not impossible. I wouldn’t want to bring anything larger. We put our boat in at a local ramp and docked the boat at the house for the rest of our stay which was so convenient. We did it all, paddle boarded, kayaked, jumped off the dock, swam...

“Our hosts were very kind and helpful with info on local areas. The beds were super comfortable, which is not always the case with some VRBOs. Amenities were all there as needed...and it had a great shower. It was quiet and was perfect for a writers' weekend get away. Our book is nearly complete now!”

Incredible value for the location and the host and hostess are absolutely wonderful! “This lovely cottage apartment was perfect for my long-weekend stay. Chickamauga is a super cute town & is close to the battlefield and Covenant College. It was very clean, had a super comfortable bed, and great water pressure in the shower. Also, the owner thought of, and provided, everything you may need! ”

“We were guests at a wedding on a farm a few miles from here. We brought our 2 small dogs and there was a great wooded backyard for them to get lots of exercise. The house was stocked with everything we needed-even a dog bed and bowl!! The weather was cool so we spent most of our time on the covered porch. Highly recommend!”

We were in town for a Berry College visit, and the unit was close to the college (about 10 minutes), while also being very close to downtown Rome, which was great for dinner and breakfast options.
