Kate’s Creek Cabin está ubicada a 22 millas de Mena, AR, en la autopista 8 este. 2. 8 millas por la carretera 675 del condado de Polk. Una cabaña rústica y bien equipada le espera con una habitación con baño completo con cabina de ducha y está amueblada con lavadora y secadora. El loft de arriba tiene una cama queen size y un futón. Una cama King Size está en el dormitorio y hay otro futón en la sala de estar. La cocina está totalmente equipada con cocina eléctrica, refrigerador, microondas, cafetera, tostadora, sartenes, platos y utensilios. Se incluyen mantas y ropa de cama. Afuera hay una cubierta envolvente con muchos asientos para disfrutar del aire libre. Una parrilla al aire libre y pozo de fuego está disponible. Un escenario perfecto para disfrutar de la belleza de las montañas Ouachita.

We had an incredible stay at this rustic yet well-equipped cabin near Big Fork, AR. The location is private, serene, and perfectly situated for exploring the Ouachita National Forest—whether you want to ride ATVs, hike, or enjoy the nearby water. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed. The wraparound porch was the highlight—we enjoyed coffee in the mornings and cocktails in the evenings while listening to the babbling brook and the sounds of nature. With no noise or light pollution, the stargazing was amazing. Highly recommend for anyone looking to disconnect and recharge in total peace.

Best kept secret in Arkansas

This was our second stay at Kate’s Creek Cabin and there is a reason for that. The owners are the nicest people and the cabin/property is perfect. This cabin is the perfect place to retreat, relax, and unwind. We absolutely love the middle of nowhere feel mixed with wildlife and beautiful scenery. Within an hour of being there, we saw 15 deer And lots of other animals. The creek that runs through the property, offers an unbelievable ambiance that forces you relax. This place is heaven to me and my wife and we already can’t wait to rebook!

Country Seclusion at its Best

This is what we were looking for. No internet, no phone service, no people.....just quiteness, wildlife, a gurgling brook, and peace. (Our only recommendation is that the streetlight in the field could be turned off so we could enjoy the stars under a dark sky.)

Kates Cabin Review

Hello, we really enjoyed staying in the Ouachita National Forest. First and foremost we loved the cabin. Nestled in the perfect spot surrounded by a beautiful little creek, the cabin makes you feel at home. Deer and other wildlife are abundant and the stars ar night are next level. Clean and comfortable definitely be back.

Amazing

Very secluded and peaceful. This is by far the best place we have stayed on vacation and will be returning soon. The cabin is by far the most supplied place you will ever stay. The host are amazing and Mr John even rode over to draw a map where we could take kids fishing.

Relaxing Place to Unplug

Our family enjoyed staying at this cozy cabin. We were able to savor our time together without the distraction of connectivity. Lazy days of poking around the campfire, creek, and surrounding hills followed by evenings of Monopoly, music, cooking, and reading. 4 humans and 1 dog filled up the cabin so just be aware if you have a large group. Five stars from my family.

Relaxing getaway

Perfect Getaway Cabin

Absolutely wonderful!

I loved the property! It’s just delightful. A pretty creek, very quiet and the lack of cell service and internet was exactly what I needed. Deer came to the creek daily. My dog was in heaven with acres to explore. I would love to return yearly for just a life detox. Slow country living in the mountains…..perfect!!!

Met all expectations

We just wanted a place to get away, be secluded, and enjoy mother nature. This place was perfect as we pulled and I got out yo open the gate a deer ran up the creek about 30 ft from me! I felt that was a perfect sign and it didn't disappoint. We were pleased and will definitely be back.
