“The place was great. Lots of room, and the house was clean. One of the boats slips is pretty useless with the floating dock in it, and the house could use an ac for each floor not just 1. Other than that it was an awsome place. Hot tub was perfect at the end of a long lake day. ”

“We needed somewhere to stay close to the Springs Event Center, and this was perfect! Everything was clean and the bed was comfy. I do kind of wish the light in the bathroom was a little brighter, and the hot water runs out FAST! So shower quickly. Otherwise, it was a good stay.”

“We enjoyed everything about our stay at Carey Cottage. Adorable decor, comfortable bed, great location. We didn’t use the canoes, paddle boards or kayaks this time but will definitely try when we return. The owners really thought of everything anyone would need plus more. There are games, a fishing pole, great tv options. We would love to return!”

“This is a perfect little 2 bedroom cabin right on the lake. We let our 7 year old chose a weekend getaway before starting back to school. He is fishing obsessed so somewhere with private access to a lake was what he chose. I came across this property and it was perfect. There were 4 of us so we needed two bedrooms. This cabin has two king bedrooms, two bathrooms and was all we hoped for. The owner welcomed us in person upon arrival and was quick to reply when we had a question and texted later....

“We have lost count the times we have stayed here. We do know we were unable to come in 2023 due to other events going on and we sure missed it. This has become our home away from home and look forward to more stays here. On the 4th our grands were able to join us for a day in the water just chilling on floats by the dock. We love this location and Donna has become a family friend. Extremely responsive and quick to reply to messages.”

“Cottage was great and well kept, the pictures of the lake need to be updated on the listing as it was probably taken during the fall or winter when there is less brush. The walkway to the lake was beautiful but once down by the water the area was cluttered and not kept up. The area could use some clearing out and up keep. One of the reasons I chose these cottages is the cottage itself but also the lake being close and possibly being able to just chill down by the water but this was not the case....
