Tiene un estilo colonial y los cuartos lo mantienen bastante bien, todo el entorno aún te proyecta a aquellos tiempos de la colonia y la explotación del té; pero las habitaciones están acondicionadas a los usos de hoy en día; en todos los cuartos que se nos asignaron hay hogar a leña, y de todos los mejores son los del frente (de frente a la recepción hacia la izquierda). “The Ibex property has one of the best views in all of Coonoor. We visited some of the higher end hotels and found that the views did not compare to that of Ibex. The bungalow is a old heritage style, gorgeous bungalow , the staff is very very sweet and helpful, and it's very worth the price! They even provide a good breakfast, games and books on request, and gave us a little goodbye token which was so warm and loving! ”

“Excellent service and very peaceful location, even though slightly steep last few 100 yards for the car. Nice view from the room and property in general. Staff and cook are very very polite. Rooms were clean and organized. Bathrooms were also clean, although slightly wet after they clean (hosts can perhaps look into this and ensure bathrooms are wiped after cleaning). This was only reason for for a 4-star rating on “rooms” (instead of 5-star rating).”

“This hotel is in a very beautiful spot with a multi level garden and incredible views of the hills around. The owners and staff were extremely kind and welcoming. We had coffee out under the arbor and breakfast was brought to our veranda. Would definitely stay here again.”

“The housekeeping, restaurant and room services are pathetic. You call them multiple times they will not pick the phone. Their food is overpriced and not upto the mark. They take a lot of time in food preparation and also their free breakfast is same everyday. They will provide very basic south indian breakfast. The area around the resort is good but the resort is overpriced and the overall services are not good.”

“It’s an excellent new hotel and well maintained property. Courteous staff and immaculate house keeping. Food at Buffet breakfast and dinner is quite extensive and tasty. I wish the property were renting scooters to go to city and sight seeing. Auto or cab is the only mode of transportation. Majority of the residents have their own car. I also recommend the management to start working on activity for hotel guests with corresponding transportation.”

“The host was excellent. However the room was very cold and no heating was available. Also the bathroom condition was quite worn. Hot water supply limited. ”

“There was no heat even though the temperature was below 50 degree Fahrenheit. The shower did not work and the food for breakfast had run out. Our rooms had absolutely no windows or sunlight. Badly needs renovation. Most importantly it’s being run with skimpy staff and so no one answered the telephones or took care of you. Sad because bones of property are great. ”
