Mid- August 2024 stay
Everything went fine with the exception of no internet and neither TVs worked. I did contact the after-hours number on Saturday morning and a person did come out to confirm there was an issue. I did contact the rental agency the following Monday and voiced my concerns but I was told there was nothing that could be done so I was charged the full amount even though both TVs and internet did not work.

Spring Weekend in NOTL
Well equipped and spacious spot for 3 of us. Could easily accommodate more people. Very clean, comfortable beds. Great location...short walk to the Pillar and Post and the gardens across which are lovely to stroll. It's an older home, so there are some squeaks and creaks but nothing overly bothersome. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful House in Great Location
Perfectly located house in Niagara on the Lake. It’s just a short walk to the high street. Property was well decorated and clean. Had all the amenities you would need. Would highly recommend as a place to stay for a visit to Niagara on the Lake

Peaceful stay!
This is a lovely little property on a quiet street. The facilities were excellent and we were able to walk to most places. Being able to take our canine family members was the icing on the cake.

Great location to the historic district, with spacious rooms, bathrooms and a well-stocked kitchen for cooking. Enjoyed having Netflix on the smart TV for an evening movie, if we stayed in.

Lovely Home
Three retired friends for the week, we each had our own bedroom which was great. The open area is large. The kitchen is well equipped. Large bathroom, great lighting for putting on makeup. The layout of the house was so functional, I would love to live there!!!! The house is also very bright. Great location. Our only complaint is that there were 2 stains on the carpet downstairs as well as the stairs and one dining room chair that perhaps should be addressed. Also the chair at the desk in the basement is disintegrating without being touched.

Great spot for touring Niagara on the Lake
Great stay with a few friends at Nelles Cottage. Nice, quiet street, just a few blocks from Niagara on the Lake's main shopping street, and close to nice pubs and restaurants. The house was clean and comfortable.

Great location
Rooms worked really well for 4 adults and my 23 yr old loved the basement space to himself. would have been nice to have a master bathroom vs share with younger son especially with no lock on the door!! And a small chest of drawers in master to put clothes in would be a welcome addition. Backyard not that usable for outdoor meal for 4, table too small and space a bit small so we ate dinners out. Great location with green space out back (tho a bit hard to access through overgrown shrubs) and super short walk to town.

Wonderful 12-day stay at Nelles Cottage
I chose Nelles Cottage because of the location and they would let me bring my dog. It was just perfect! It was three blocks to the Shaw’s Festival Theatre, and about five to the Royal George, the primary reason for going to NOTL. But then I discovered the Butlers Barracks about two blocks away with a huge off-leash field with lots of friendly people and their dogs. The house itself was great, with front porch seating in the afternoon, and table and chairs in the lush back yard for lattes (from Balzac’s, 3 blocks away) and breakfast in the morning. The kitchen was well-equipped. Everything was spotless, and perfect with three bedrooms for our group of four. All of our group, some from as far away as California, loved NOTL and Niagara, and Nelles Cottage checked all the boxes. I hope to come again and stay there next year!

Belles Cottage is situated in a quite neighborhood that is within easy walking distance of the beautiful town of NOT (less than 2 min). It’s also an easy drive from the cottage to Niagara Falls.
