Great location for skiing Sunday River
First the negative:
Initial communication should have been more timely and questions actually answered. The interactions with the property manager (multiple people) was odd- a question I asked in January wasn’t answered until March and then no help was forthcoming. Specifically, in a condo that sleeps 6, what are my options for parking a third car for one night? After many phone calls and emails, the answer was: look on parking apps (no success there), ask at the office (there isn’t one), and lastly, you can’t park a third car there. I ended up finding out that there is a lot with overnight parking at Sunday River which was very inconvenient but was at least a solution. I don’t know why the property manager didn’t know that.
I have now received multiple emails and texts offering to help with an issue that I already resolved. It seems like there are a lot of uninformed people that email but can’t actually do anything and aren’t in touch with each other. ( why so many contacts at the end of the stay??)
Additionally, an information sheet would be really helpful so simple things could be easily learned. Also, I was surprised that there was no washer/dryer at such a nice unit.
On to the positives: this is a nice, well-equipped unit that is great for families. The ski-in, ski-out was great. It’s comfortable and very quiet.
The only problem is that the management of it is weird. But still a nice unit to rent despite that.
I also really appreciated the early check in.
