The house is spotless and the most perfect location for sea/beach lovers.
Apart from the windows which were sea sprayed on arrival and were not clean all week. Sadly blurs the view unless you open the windows,
Communication with owners/management is easy however they did not deal with a few of the things that we contacted them about.
on arrival, the outside bin to the property was overflowing with rubbish and bags of more rubbish on top and beside the bin. We as guests are kindly asked to put the bins out for bin day (which was the day after we arrived). We would have no problem doing this but refused due to the state of it. There were also ripped up mail all over the drive and the garden upon our arrival. we informed our contact immediately via email and they did reply quickly but the bin was not dealt with the duration of our stay (6 nights). Due to weather and seagulls we kept our rubbish inside the property which isn’t pleasant!
The day we arrived we also informed them that the main bedroom blind was broken and we were unable to lower the blinds at night or to get privacy. Bright early morning starts, no privacy and having to get changed in the en suite all week for us!
I’d suggest to any other guests to bring toilet roll as the rolls provided are the cheapest paper and did not last two days let alone a week (2 adults and six children) Please also bring hand soap as two small soap bars divided by three toilets was all that was provided. I did ask if there were anymore in the property on the same email but this question went unanswered too. These are basic things in a holiday let.
They did however deal with a top window that wouldn’t lock as soon as possible but other than that we were left to deal with the rest and our questions left unanswered.
The house is well equipped, clean and comfortable, the beds are amazingly comfy and the bedding is great quality. It’s a shame that our small questions were ignored as it tarnished this review massively for us.
