“Our third stay at 14 Hodges. We were so pleased with the upgrades. The new beds/bedding were amazing and the new thermostat was user friendly. We managed to cook quite a bit while also eating out at our favorite vegan spots in Salem and Beverly. We headed to Boston via train for the Titanic exhibit and headed to Portland Maine and the lit up for the Holidays Nubble Light House. It was great to visit the PEM once again for some great exhibits and all the local stores. It was great to be "home." ”

“A very well kept and compact little apartment. Well stocked with everything (except they forgot dishwasher soap on this occasion). Two issues: the stairs up to the loft were fine for us, but might be difficult for anyone with walking issues. And the heating system was a bit of a mess. Upstairs roasted, while the downstairs main room was chilly, and the downstairs bedroom became a sauna if you closed the door. But for most people I'm sure this is not a winter time rental!”

“We had our annual friends weekend away & Chelsi’s house was the perfect setting for it all! So spacious, there was a room for everyone to do just what they wanted! Pool, hot tub & sauna was a fun added bonus! The theater room was great for the guys who wanted to hang there! Kitchen was really well stocked & had so much room for us all to gather. Beds were comfy & all the linens were cozy too! We had a great time & hope to come back! Thanks Chelsi!”

“This property was gorgeous and much more spacious then the photos made it appear. It was a very comfortable set up to hang out as a group as well as having some space to spread out individually. Great property for a group. Very close to Hammond Castle as well as the train station for a Boston/Salem trip with the group if you didn't want to drive. We had 3 vehicles and had a pretty easy time street parking one. Check in email was detailed and helpful. Check out process was simple, for which we were very grateful. Great stay overall!”

“This rental was super clean, cozy and conveniently located close to downtown Salem. Perfect for enjoying Halloween festivities in Salem. We stayed a couple days the week before Halloween. This unit was well stocked with coffee, paper products, a few snacks, kitchen supplies, soaps … and provided everything else we needed. Nice quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed this rental very much. ”

“A lovely winter getaway. Our room was comfortable and set up like a studio apt. Breakfasts delivered to our room were tasty and creative. The ocean was just outside our door, loved our walks on the beach and it was great to be on the edge of the NWR. Newbury/Newburyport is quiet this time of year but we had no trouble finding great places to eat. A lot of snow and parking lot was icy but hey, it’s winter in New England. ”
