“Very cute accommodations; perfect for our weekend stay of golf. Spent some time at restaurant/bar next door and met some friendly locals. Definitely would come back.”

“Comfortable mattress! Room is clean.The shower curtain can be a little wider. A chair in the room would be nice, and a suitcase stand. Amenities were adequate. Area is quiet with grocery store and dollar store next door. Restaurants neaby. Bathroom needs ventilation.”

“We love our stay in the Sunset Suite at Blue Heron Retreat. The setting over the lake is beautiful. We enjoyed the hot tub and the kayaks, and maybe most of all just watching the sunrise over the lake. Everything was very clean and we loved the extra touches like fresh flowers and lavender. We came to the area to Ike the Dragon Trail and are thrilled to have found such a great place to stay. We will be back!”

“When I checked in - luckily I had a friend with me … Door 5 is in the shadows - and the only room in the building with a step in front of the door… it is the same color as the flooring and wall and I tripped on it and fell … never saw it and landed hard with a bag in my hand. If I’d have really gotten cut or severely injured - I’d have laid there a few days until someone came up there That needs some yellow tape or something to mark it so it can be seen!! Twisted one knee and scraped the other...
