Très déçus
Nous aurions du faire confiance aux avis négatifs. L'appartement était spacieux et confortable c'est le seul point positif. Mais pas de lave-linge, des ampoules manquantes, la climatisation à fond les premiers jours puis aucune alors qu'il faisait chaud, peu de matériel de cuisine ou abîmé ( bouilloire qui fuit notamment), une TV sans télécommande donc inutilisable, les lumières extérieures allumées toute la nuit donc difficile de dormir car pas de volets. 3 pauvres chiens vivant (seuls ?)au rez-de-chaussée, qui semblent voir du monde uniquement pour être nourris. Les locataires du dessus faisaient beaucoup de bruit en marchant en chaussures même la nuit. Un hôte antipathique qui semblait vouloir le minimum de contacts avec nous et très vite agacé par nos questions et nos incompréhensions des règles en vigueur. Nous avons l'habitude de louer pour les vacances et c'est notre première mauvaise expérience. Nous ne ferons plus appel à Abritel.

Perfect room, kitchen to refurnish!
Our stay was very good. The apartment and the rooms are clean and comfortable. As for the kitchen, there is a lot of lack of stock. The number of glasses and utensils was insufficient for 6. Also, there were no dish towels or towels to wash the table. Also, the fridge in the pictures is not the same and the water is not cold, so we had to go buy cans of water to put in the fridge. In general, the apartment is perfect for those who do not cook but for those who want to cook, it is not! the ideal place

It wasn’t good. I could go into detail about all the things we disliked (which was most of it) but I think in the end it’s best to stick with it wasn’t good and we will not be returning. Ever.

Quick overnight needed
We had gone to the meadowlands for a concert and needed a place to stay the night. Apt was clean and beds were comfortable. The check in process got mixed up and I was given the wrong apt number. It was very late when we arrived, 12:30 am, but the property manager answered my messages and even called us to help us get into the apt and apologized for the mix up. The reason I didn’t rate this higher is you can’t control the thermostat. It does say it in the reviews but it had been a very hot day and the apt was 75 degrees and we got in. We would have liked to put in the air to cool it down. We just slept with the windows open.

Good place to stay
Overall we had a good experience with our stay. The house was clean and well furnished. The owner was very friends and was quick to offer help and dinner suggestions(Brooklyn Pizza was great by the way). I do have a few small gripes. Would have liked to have more towels/wash cloths and a baking sheet or 2 so the over could be used. Also would have like to be able to control the thermostat. Overall a great experience and would stay again if I were in the area.

Overall great stay
Overall, it was a nice place to stay. It was very clean. The check in and out process had a few hiccups however the owner was able to resolve them quickly. The grass wall and neon sign was a great feature that made for a great photo opportunity.

This home was overall a very nice stay! The beds were so comfortable and everything was clean! We traveled for a concert in Newark so for that, it was perfect.

Came for Daughter and Son n Love Baby Shower
It was a decent stay, but I have stayed in much better establishments. The property manager was pleasant and very helpful and amenable to the needs of my mother who is disabled and elderly. You cannot control the temperature. The thermostat was set up 77 degrees, which made it extremely hot, however, we opened up the windows and sliding glass door to the patio. This resulted in the place cooling off. If you like plush towels, you better bring your own. The towels and wash clothes seems like there were bought at a thrift shop or a garage sale. However, any concern we had was addressed. My family was comfortable.One small issues was the smell of marijuana throughout the place on two occasions. It was coming through the vents from a joining unit. It was no problem because it is legal in New Jersey, however, some other renter may have an issue or allergic to the smell. We told the property, but he said he could not smell it. My brother and I laughed because we knew it was him...Who orders food by Doordash 12am in the morning if they don't have the munchies :o) All good.

DONT DO IT!!
**This is a warning for anybody and everybody** HOST IS A HORRIBLE PERSON! The door lock code he provided wasn't working and lock doesn't unlatch unless he override from his phone to unlock and let you in. Host lives upstairs from this rental. He doesn't care if you buzz him upstairs, call, text, email or anything. So you WILL BE LOCKED OUT UNTIL HE LETS YOU IN! That is not all- The pictures shown are not up to date. The refridgerator is an old little black fridge that is plugged in but doesnt work. Meaning it lights up when u open the door but it doesn't feel cold and DOES NOT keep cool.(Medication and food will expire) No towels provided. Toilets dont flush properly, you need to press and hold down for pressure, sometimes twice. There are stains in the master bed- bathtub. No parking provided. You park on the street & there are many other residents there so goodluck with that. Lastly- The host, Isaiah, told me the door lock disables when there is rain after the fact that we were locked out for over 3 hours. It was a heavy rain storm and he knew that but failed to take care of that issue. I booked to stay at FaithInn for 3 nights. He charged me $250 for 1 extra night stay and i paid in full. On the first day all these issues happened. The firat night we were locked out. The next morning i found out the fridge didnt work and when we left to the pharmacy- he cancelled my reservation, stated that he didnt owe us a refund because we were causing him inconvenience.

Clean and comfortable
My husband, daughter and I were in town for Thanksgiving. The 3 bedroom home was stocked with the staple things we needed. The checkin - checkout process was simple. I liked the inspirational messages throughout. The location was perfect for our needs. I would stay here again.

Great Stay
Overall, our experience at this location was great. The only thing that was disappointing is that we can not control the temperature in the location. Had we had known that before booking, that may have altered our booking. Luckily, it was not hot at night and we were ok.

NYC vacation
Due to a new law in New York State we had to change our booking. It was absolutely worth it. Isaiah was very helpful from start to finish. From answering questions to helping us when we needed him. Communication is the key to everything. We asked for extra towels in advance and were provided. Piece of cake. The condo is large and was clean. The beds are comfortable. Everything is there. Newark Penn Station is not far away and there are shopping possibilities only couple minutes away. Isaiah was blown away by the fact that we cleaned after ourselves in way he had never seen before. That's what we call German efficiency. If there is a visit planned to NYC in the future we'll come back for sure.

Wow!
This was my first trip to NYC. It was absolutely fantastic, and it started with staying here. Mr. Isaiah has the patience of a saint, as I wasn't my best person when first booking his property. He answers all your questions, honors your requests to the best of his ability, and IMHO, is just all around good people. The property is extremely clean, large, and comfortable. Do not judge the neighborhood book by its cover. Semi-busy street, and everyone is friendly. It was nice to sit on the balcony and have passers-by wave and engage in small talk. Now, I dont know about the other beds in the house, but I wish I could've spent more time in mine. So comfortable. The towels are washed in something so fresh that it permeates into your hair and skin and just makes you feel good. My trip didn't exactly end on the best note because of our own circumstances, but I fully plan on coming back to this property next year, and would recommend anyone I know to do the same. Thank you Mr Isaiah!

A place to sleep
I will break my review more into Pros and Cons Pros: The house was clean The property manager was friendly Close proximity to Newark Penn Station Beds were comfortable Cons: The house is split between 2 levels and shared with other travelers. You enter the same front door but have a key pad lock on your unit. The neighborhood is slightly worrisome at night. Our first night there, gun shots rang out in close proximity. There seemed to have been a block party possibly(?) going on our second night and the music bumped all night. You can hear every footstep from the unit above. We ended up having a family above us that didn’t sleep much so all night were footsteps. ——————————————————————— If you choose to stay here and another family is staying in the other unit, make sure the front door is locked every night and lock it when you are leaving. If this home is just a place to sleep because you are visiting the city or have an event it is fine. My cons are more about the neighborhood than the unit itself :)

Wrong address is entered in VRBO. Host stated that it could not be changed as I was already en route to the address stated in VRBO. Nice place but could not control temperature. The thermostat was behind lock and key. Host told me to open a window. I paid for cleaning at booking but at check out the host wanted the place cleaned to 'exactly as presented' at check in. Wont be back.
