Appalachian Quilt Cabin Centrally Located Dentro de las colinas de Hocking

Una pieza verdadera de la historia situada en la aldea de Fiddlestix, la cabina del edredón de los apalaches es la casa de granja original de los años 20 de Fiddlestix. Esta cabaña se remonta a un tiempo que ya está olvidado. Los veteranos de la zona nos dicen que la familia que una vez ocupó la casa operó una bomba de gas en el frente, vendió artículos diversos y básicos de lo que ahora es la sala de estar. Las señales publicitarias antiguas y el arte de los Apalaches forman parte de la decoración de las cabañas para destacar esta historia.
La cabaña de edredón de los Apalaches fue una vez el centro de una granja de 160 hectáreas propiedad de una familia temprana del Condado de Vinton. Más adelante otra familia trabajadora levantó a nueve niños en la granja que sirvió como jardín extremadamente lucrativo del carro. En un momento en la historia de nuestra pequeña casa de la granja incluso sirvió como un café que pasó por el nombre de "La cabaña roja". Ahora situado en poco más de 5 hectáreas esta encantadora casita de granja sirve como el centro de la aldea de Fiddlestix y se utiliza para una experiencia inolvidable alojamiento alojamiento Hocking Hills.

NICE STAY
Me and my friends stayed 2 nights here. It was a nice cozy cabin with a nice fire pit outside. Had issues with wifi on the first night, but was able to contact the owner pretty quickly the day after, and was able to fix the issue. Other than that, it was a nice short stay.

Happy Fiddlestix
Our stay was very nice. The bathroom was clean, the rooms were cozy, and the mattresses were comfortable. The kitchen had plates, bowls, and silverware already there. The view is beautiful! There is both AC's and heaters so if you're feeling too hot or too cold you can change the temperature of almost any room. There's lots of movies you can watch on the TV and games to play with the family. There is a campfire to make s'mores and the location is close to most of not all of the hiking trails. We had a great time and would consider staying here again! Thank you

Bees and Wasps Inside and Out of the place!!! I am personally Deathly allergic and it almost deterred or stay but I cleaned the mess up and all the wasps and bees and we all stayed in the living room out of fear there were more. And the place itself was supposedly cleaned before we arrived, it was pretty dirty. It smelled pretty strong of moth balls too. Everything seemed to work as it should appliances and electricity. But it was too bad nice quite spot and the neighbors are quite close don't expect total privacy!!! And the Grill is a Stationary Park style grill it works just not too convenient. Fire pit was nice but it's shared with the whole village fyi. All in all not a Horrible stay but not the best either. We personally will not try it again. But that's not to say other people wouldn't enjoy it given the whole fiddlestix village is your company and your not deathly allergic to Bees and Wasps and don't mind yhe grease and dust all over your things.

Near It All
Two friends joined me for a three day trip to the Hocking Hills area. We loved the location of the Quilt Cottage. Easy access to Old Man's Cave, Conkle's Hollow, and to the Hocking Hills Winery in Logan. I recommend both the winery and also 58 West restaurant in Logan! Great place to stay and rest between adventures! We even took in the outdoor drama "Tecumseh" in Chillicothe which was less than an hour away.

This cabin was nicely decorated but not well maintained. We had to replace two light bulbs that were burned out. And it smells pretty musty. We couldn't get a hold of the owner by phone. That was unsettling. So I emailed him and to his credit he emailed me right back. We found the furniture somewhat uncomfortable, except for the queen bed, so we never used the living room. Overall it was clean and the kitchen and bathroom was fairly nice. It's centrally located so it is only a 10 to 20 minute drive to the Hocking Hills trails. With a little bit of work and a more comfortable couch this would be a nicer place to stay.

Great getaway
Nice place to rent. Very sticky kitchen table and the pots/pans were in very poor quality/condition! We were able to boil eggs with no problem but I would not fry eggs or cook a pot of chili in the pans provided.

Girls getaway
Check in and all was good. We liked the cabin. We disliked the large chickens and dust catcher decorations that were everywhere. The first was creepy and the second kept the cabin from feeling clean. The pictures made the cabin look secluded but there were 5-6 set quite close together so that was surprising. The host was kind and helpful.

Charming place to stay but room for improvement
Overall, we enjoyed the stay. The floors could have been cleaner. We noted that the area under the bed had not been swept.We had a wasp in the bedroom, which we killed, and several stink bugs, which we tossed outside. (I know that it is hard to keep stink bugs out, as we get some at home, too.) My husband was alarmed when he saw the uncovered electrical panel in the bedroom closet. Could that be a shock hazard?

Not coming back
We were told coffee filters would be available. They were not. When we asked, property manager suggested that we go buy our own. Sheets on two of the beds had been slept on and were soiled. Cabin had an abundance of live beetles throughout.
