Suite Armstrong: esta enorme suite de 1 dormitorio recientemente renovada es el corazón de la elegancia y el lujo con el encanto de la época victoriana y las comodidades modernas. Estacionamiento fuera de la calle en camino privado, cama tamaño king de California, bañera de hidromasaje grande, ducha doble, nuevo sofá cama y cocina enorme son algunas de las ventajas. A solo 1 cuadra de St. Charles Ave en la ruta del desfile con fácil acceso al transporte público, taxis, Uber o Lyft. ¡Los mercados frescos, los restaurantes y los paisajes históricos de Garden District están a solo unos pasos de distancia!

Relájese y disfrute de un agradable baño de burbujas en el Ciprea Jacuzzi, que funciona completamente, lo suficientemente grande para 2. Si le gusta más la ducha, nuestra ducha de dos cabezales diseñada a medida es igual de grande, con cabezal de ducha con efecto de lluvia tropical, área de descanso y pisos de piedra natural. El enorme baño tiene un área de baño privado, mucho espacio de guardarropas y 3 tragaluces que brindan una hermosa iluminación natural en los pisos de cerámica.

El dormitorio principal cuenta con una cama extragrande de California, área de descanso, chimenea de ladrillo a la vista (que no funciona), repisa de madera y (3) ventanas saledizas de 10 pies. El televisor HD de 52 "está equipado con cable Cox y capacidades de Netflix y Hulu. Ambas habitaciones tienen los pisos de roble rojo originales complementados con alfombras persas auténticas. ¡El acabado y molduras de madera dura naturalmente renovados le dan el toque perfecto para darle vida a esta mansión de 1896!

El segundo dormitorio está equipado con una cama queen size, sofá, chimenea de ladrillo a la vista (que no funciona), repisa de madera y una ventana de 10 pies con vista al patio lateral de la propiedad. El televisor HD de 47 "está equipado con cable Cox y capacidades de Netflix y Hulu.

La cocina extremadamente grande está equipada con una estufa de gas O'Keefe & Merritt de la década de 1930, microondas, Keurig, refrigerador, lavaplatos, isla de granito y área de comedor con 3 taburetes altos. Abastecemos la cocina con utensilios, cubiertos, vajillas, k-pods y agua mineral embotellada. También se filtra el agua de manantial de Kentwood desde el pico del lado izquierdo del área del fregadero.

La puerta trasera conduce a un área de escalera trasera compartida que alberga un nuevo conjunto de lavadora y secadora de carga inferior, detergente y comodidades adicionales. El camino cerrado es suyo exclusivamente para usar durante su estadía. Tenga cuidado al entrar y salir, ya que la puerta se cierra automáticamente después de 30 segundos.

Salga a nuestra pintoresca área de césped que alberga (2) parrillas para barbacoa a su disposición. Solo le pedimos que limpie la parrilla antes de cada uso, como es nuestra costumbre tradicional de larga data.

Gorgeous with a great location

Great Historical Home
We stayed here on our first visit to Nola, the home is amazing!! So quiet and comfortable. It was perfect for myself, husband and daughter to enjoy our stay. The location is very close to the streetcar and was very helpful for me to access with my walking disabilty.

Fun Apartment Near Garden District
We enjoyed our stay here, with myself, my wife, and our 10 year old son. The location was nice, quiet at night, but easy to take the streetcar to the French Quarter, and some street and one off street parking spot. Magazine Street was also nearby, as was a nice little grocery store on Louisiana and St. Charles. The apartment was clean and well maintained. The kitchen was stocked with the essentials, maybe a little light on plates/glasses, etc., but there isn't room for more than 4 people, so that isn't really a problem. The only thing to be aware of is that, while the apartment is quite large, the layout is like a hotel suite, with one bed in the common area, next to the kitchen, and the other in a bedroom next to the bathroom. Also, the doorways between areas don't have doors, but just heavy blackout curtains. They work well for blocking the light and some noise, but you won't be watching Game of Thrones in bed after the kids go to sleep. Overall, a nice place, but probably better for a couple by themselves than a family with kids.

Beautiful and comfortable place to stay.
The reserved gated parking initially sold me. But the whole place was beautiful and well appointed. It was convenient location to the streetcar and pretty centrally located to be a quick drive to most of our destinations. The music room was a super nice touch. Lots of great jazz records to listen too when we were in.

Wonderful place
I took a train by myself to New Orleans from the SF Bay Area and was feeling ill and a bit disoriented during check-in, where I didn’t realize my reservation phone number was my actual phone number. After getting lost with my Lyft due to having the address slightly wrong I discovered an on-site staff member who must’ve thought I was a burglar. He let me in and I got the right code the next day but had difficulty locating and working other equipment and finding things so I mostly left the music collection and kitchen appliances untouched. However the place was truly amazing and I would highly recommend it for a group of jazz buffs, chefs, and urban explorers who like old streetcars.

Perfect
These guys thought of every little thing! The place is beautifully decorated with anything you’d need. They even have a wall of jazz vinyls with a record player so you can listen all day or night. The teens filled their instas with tons of unique pictures just from inside. It was very clean too. I would definitely stay there again. And I NEVER leave reviews for anything bc I’m too lazy. I had to this time

We LOVED staying here! Highly recommend! Was nervous at first sharing a house with others but you couldnt tell! Felt like it was all ours! Plus this comes with your own parking spot and parking would have been a challenge if not. You will love it!

Wonderful!
We had a great stay. Unique property that was clean and completely operational. Grat for me and my mom. We cooked in, went out, ordered in. Only minor issue was the upstairs neighbors were consistently loud all hours of the day or night so if you are a light sleeper bring earplugs. I slept good once I made the adjustment. Typical of old homes with multiple floors. I would stay there again

Full of flair
Place was cozy, clean and colorful. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen is spacious but not a lot of seating for dining. The vinyl collection was fun and we played some tunes while getting ready. The parking place was convenient and property is gated. We walked to Magazine St easily and ubered to the French Quarter. Location, if in the Garden District, it's on the very edge. I wouldn't suggest walking at night. There wasn't much noise disturbance. All in all, we had a great stay.

Our Amazing Stay
Del and Treena's home is charming and luxurious; it feels like you are stepping back in time. They have decorated it with style and good taste and everything you could want is there. As hosts, Del and Treena responded quickly to all of my stupid questions. The location is great - a short walk to the antuqye stores on Magazine Street and a block from the St. Charles steatcar, which we took to get downtown. This was the best holiday ever and this apartment set the tone for a great visit to a lively and beautiful city. Thanks Del and Treena!

Safety issues & bad management
The iron gate automatically closes after 30 seconds and this wasn't disclosed. It is updated now to reflect this but too late and it should have had a safety sensor installed. What if it were a child or person it closed on instead of my car??The gate closed causing $2500 damage to my car and it was immediately reported to the owner w/ photos. Estimates were provided, as requested and instead of doing the right thing , he said basically "email my lawyer" and take me to court. There's an open safety investigation w/ VRBO and the legal team is now trying to help me. Bad management... admitted fault then basically told me "oh well...take me to court" He wont provide a name or address either for small claims court. I would stay elsewhere and spend your money with an honest & caring host. He wont provide any homeowners insurance either allowing me to file a claim.

Great room
Check in wasn’t as smooth because I think the door has a trick to it. Great big, clean and spacious room. It’s not the typical hotel room with doors I was expecting but I loved the close feeling of it. Del&Mar were pretty great about communicating with us when things like the WiFi and doors were giving us trouble. Also when my friends were too close to the doors with smells, they let me know and we were able to communicate about it easily. The location was great as everything was 20 mins max by cabs and the streetcar was two blocks away which was fun. Thank you for a good stay.

Love this house. The ceiling height is jawdropping. The suite is beautifully appointed and has everything you'll need. Its one block from the streetcar line as well as the grocery store and just a few more blocks to the many shops and restaurants of Magazine St. Cant wait to return...

It worked out
When we arrived the door code didn't work. Conyacted property owner who showed up in minutes. Turns out the A/C was broken with no date/time it would be fixed. His solution was to let us stay in the "cottage" on the property. Even though it wasn't what we hoped for, it worked. Only wish we would have been told in advance instead of being locked out. Property owner was very friendly and quick to respond. He reduced the rate a bit to make up for the disappointment. Good location and the cottage had everything we needed.

Lovely apartment
My 2 kids & I really enjoyed our stay here. It is an apartment in a delightful old home, right on the edge of the Garden District. The streetcar stop is a couple of blocks away, making it very walkable & easy to get around without your car. There is a Fresh Market one block away. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom is huge. Note that there are curtains rather than a door going into the main bathroom, but the toilet has its' own room. We thoroughly enjoyed the use of the record player while we were there. I would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.

Beautiful Historic Getaway
This was a perfect place to stay for our New Orleans vacation. The apartment itself was beautful. You could get lost in the bathroom! Also had anything you could need. Street car, as well as hop on hop off bus tour stop a block away. Fresh Market also within walking distance. We are already planning a return trip and hope this property is available when we set our dates.
