Just what we needed
This is the place you want to stay! Close to the action but tucked away enough for your peace and quiet. The beds are cozy. Home is spacious and floor plan is unique!!! Yes yes yes! The host has got style and grace and shows in the decorations. We hate to leave but happy others can enjoy this home like we did!

NOLA for a long weekend
Check in was simple once we were able to communicate effectively. 1) AT&T service has been wonky. 2) 18 hours post hurricane may have caused hiccups in texting/VRBO messaging. Ebony’s place was perfect for our trip. Inexpensive to French Quarter when we Ubered and adequate parking for our rental. Had a great time and look forward to the next time!

Great location and hospitality
The apartment is very spacious with really comfortable bedding. It is close to several bus stops for cheap and easy transportation. Great local food near by. A few bus stops away from the French Quarter. Safe and walkable neighborhood. Close to a park/greenway and Wholefoods. Fast communication and very accommodating to our needs. Would stay here again. Also affordable pricing.

Family vacation
The house looked exactly as pictured and the neighbors were very friendly. This house is literally in the perfect location everything was about a 7 to 8 minute drive away. Oh and my family and myself loved how comfortable the beds were. I would absolutely stay again.

The availability of the bicycles really made an impact on my stay. I was able to bike to the Jazz Fest in less than 15 minutes and safely lock up the bike there...a GREAT perk!

NOLA and Essence Fest getaway
The rental was very cozy and welcoming, conveniently located nearby popular today attractions but also allows one to live amongst the locals and really submerge themselves in the New Orleans culture filled with southern hospitality and great food. I would definitely book this rental again.

We loved the neighborhood it was great. Met new friends.
They had half the roof done starting at 8:00 am. Got told the night before. When we got to the house there was nothing there like salt pepper, sugar ,tea coffee. We had to find a store to buy the stuff we need. When we were leaving we had to take the sheets off the beds garbage out I have never had to do this before and pay to have it cleaned.

This place is in a great location. The neighborhood looks a little rough (half done construction on the roads, etc) but the people are very friendly. It is about 1.5 miles from the heart of the French Quarter. Close enough to walk yet far enough away to avoid the crowds. We did not use the bikes but they were air up and ready to go.

Communication deficits ruin everything
For the most part, our stay was totally fine (emphasis on fine). The beds were comfortable, and for the most part, the property was as described. However, there were a number of annoyances that advanced to real issues throughout our stay. Annoyances included no response to my check in inquiries, hours after my first request and an hour after the advertised check in time, no hair dryer, despite it being included in amenities, what appeared to be regular hand soap refilled in a foaming hand soap dispenser (resulting in no soap coming out; ever), no dish towels, drying rack, dishwasher, or sponge, 0 additional blankets, heat not working in any room except one (again, despite heat being an amenity featured). However, all of that I could have gotten over, except for the fact that the owner locked us out of the unit for almost 2 hours, after midnight. The smart lock wasn't set correctly, and we were unable to get into the unit when we returned from a day out at 11 pm. We called the owner who did not answer for >20 phone calls, lasting over an hour. We called the VRBO support team, who also were unable to find a solution, even offering to pay for us to stay at a hotel. After 2 hours in the middle of the night, we FINALLY got ahold of the owner, who was able to use the smart lock to get us into the unit. However, she never apologized for setting it incorrectly in the first place.

This property is only a 10-minute drive to the city. It is located in the Treme neighborhood right around the corner from the Zulu Social and Pleasure Club. Parking can be a bit tight when there are events. There are a number of great restaurants within walking distance like Dookie Chase and Willie Mae's. The area is steep in historical significance and you may just catch a second line going down the street.

A great spot!
An awesome place to stay in New Orleans. Clean, comfortable, and a great locations with lots of good restaurants around. Only a $10 Uber into the French Quarter or to City Park. Highly recommend! The host responded promptly whenever we had questions. We would stay here again - thank you so much for everything!

Great location!
We stayed for two nights and 2 days at this location, which was a short Uber ride to the Quarter and Garden District. The beds were super comfy, but the seating in the living room & kitchen in this property is pretty bare bones - it would have been great to have more comfortable seating in those areas to enjoy our morning coffee - but we didn’t spend much time in the house, so it was only a minor inconvenience for us. Our only other small suggestion for the owners is to add some sort of towel racks/storage for the bathrooms. The owner was very responsive to communication during our stay, even at midnight! I’d definitely recommend staying at their properties, we had a great time!

Really Wanted To Enjoy Our Experience
We came to New Orleans for 3 friends birthdays and we’re pretty excited, as this was our first time. We got bad news that our property was double booked and had very little feedback from VRBO to fix the issue. This was resolved by the host and we were appreciative! We wanted to enjoy the property after all this but had issues with contact, our electronic door code locking us out after 12 AM on multiple occasions, the lock box code being incorrect, dirty dishes, etc. All together a pretty exhausting experience.

Excellent Property
Ebony is an excellent host. She responded to my questions in a timely fashion. The home was clean, and a great space for my family of five. Neighbors were kind, it's located in Treme, which is rich in history and home to two James Beard recipient restaurants. The neighborhood looked a little rough due to the road work and construction, but the home was pretty and we felt safe, secure and it was easy to find.

Everything was perfect for my family
Everything was perfect. It was neat, very comfortable. It had wifi, and firestick to watch movies and more. The price was the best you will find to fit for a small group or family. I will recommend it to anyone. When i go back, i will be hoping to book this exact spot.
