¿POR QUÉ QUEDARSE EN ESTE BARRIO? ¡Seguridad, no crimen! Arabi está en St. Parroquia de Bernard (Condado). Arabi tiene una aplicación de la ley superior que no tolera el crimen. Cuando te quedas en Arabi, puedes disfrutar de todas las cosas divertidas que Nueva Orleans tiene para ofrecer, pero vuelves a dormir en Arabi sin preocuparte de que alguien entre en tu casa o en tu automóvil. Esta es una casa bellamente restaurada a cuatro millas del Barrio Francés. Barrio muy seguro. Mucho espacio de estacionamiento. Además, muy cerca del lanzamiento de un bote que ofrece la mejor pesca del país. Quédate un día o dos más. Trae un bote o alquila un capitán de pesca y ve a pescar.

La casa tiene 4 camas king. Hay 3 baños completos y medio baño. Completamos la remodelación de la casa en julio de 2014. Tenemos aire y calefacción central y una lavadora / secadora en la casa. La casa tiene una bonita mesa de porche y sillas. El porche delantero es un buen lugar para sentarse por las tardes con puesta de sol detrás de la casa. Desde el porche, puedes ver los cruceros, botes de remos y buques de carga subir y bajar por el río Mississippi. Esta es la relajación sureña en su mejor momento. El barrio francés está a 10-15 minutos.

Nueva Orleans está a tres cuadras de distancia. El Barrio Francés está a cuatro millas de esta ubicación.

Stellar location and comfortable stay
Excellent location and the whole house was comfortable and easy to maneuver. Having the washer and dryer was a plus as we were staying in the area for about week in total. When the Vrbo site wouldn't give me the access information, the owner was in top of it making sure we had a great time!

Great location
This is a very cool old house, in a convenient location if you want to explore downtown NOLA. The house is in a nice neighborhood on a quiet street. It has large bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms, a really large and comfortable living room, and fully equipped kitchen. It has plenty of room for parking and a big yard. The only potential drawback is the back part of the house which is a rental unit as well. You might end up with a noisy partier in that back unit, but hey, it's New Orleans! It's a short drive, or uber ride to the French quarter. The owner was easy to reach by phone and very easy to work with. We would love to return!

What a beautiful getaway!
The home was even better than expected. Close to a donut shop and grocery store, nice front porch to enjoy our morning coffee before headed off to the french quarter. Would stay here again!!

Family Fun
Our group enjoyed our stay at this property. The description and pictures of the house were accurate. Our group of eight particularly liked the front sitting room where we could all sit and visit. The house is located in an historical area of Arabi and we felt safe staying there. Be aware that another apartment could be rented above your space during your stay which was the case during our stay. Voices, sounds (music) and footsteps are easily picked up on the main floor.

Great House!

Disappointing - was supposed to accommodate 8 people
There was only 1 complete place setting for meals, no icemaker, 2 drinking glasses, 1 hair dryer attached to wall in one bathroom, no towel bars, no smoke detectors in bedrooms, no detergent for dishwasher, only 2 burners worked properly on the stove, 5 rolls of toilet paper for 8 people for 7 nights, hole in a wall, holes in the flooring covered by rugs, lights flickered, lots more.

Wedding weekend
My family traveled to New Orleans from Iowa so that my husband and I could get married. My bridal party stayed in the front and back apartments of this house. When we got to the property we all decided pictures didn’t do it justice, the house is huge and the room are a really nice size. Larry was super helpful with keeping in contact with us. We were gonna use the lot next door for our wedding but due to rain ended up having it inside, there was plenty of room and the photos turned out stunning! 10/10 would recommend to stay here especially if you have a large group and get both sides, it made hanging out with all our friends so easy but then everyone also got their own space.

This place was the highlight of an amazing weekend with friends.
I had never stayed in this area before but after staying here I will make this my go-to place. On top of such a nice Parrish, this home and entire neighbor has so much character. We found ourselves wanting to stay on-premise more even with all the enticements of French Quarter and NOLA. Convenient drive or uber to other areas. But this place is so quiet and we found incredible out of the way restaurants within 2 miles of this area. We will not only come back to Arabi we would not hesitate to rent this. Huge king beds, ample bathrooms and well maintained historic house. Felt like home

Great house!
We had a great time staying at the house. It was very clean and super spacious! My party of 8 all enjoyed our stay. I loved the high ceiling with the chandeliers and the beds we’re comfortable. I definitely would stay here again. Getting an Uber or Lyft was super easy and didnt have to wait very long.

Lovely Home
The spacious ground floor apartment is a comfortable accommodation near enough to the French Quarter to quickly access by car, but far enough away to escape the overenergized bar scenes and throngs of tourists. We highly recommend!

NOLA wedding
We were in town for a wedding. The house was perfect for multiple people getting ready for an event at the same time - plenty of space and bathrooms. We loved the creole cottage style home. It appears small from the outside - yet its huge inside! We also rented the back house as well. Also, good communication from the owner. Close to several areas, about 20 minutes from the quarter.

beautiful home in New Orleans
this was a wonderful property. A large spacious older home that has been updated beautifully. 4 good size bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths, full kitchen. plenty of room for our party of 5. Clean quiet well-kept neighborhood walking distance to some cute yummy local restaurants and grocery stores and only 5 minutes to larger stores if necessary. Really loved the house.

Great stylish house that's very comfortable for a family
We enjoyed staying in this house as a family of 6. Plenty of room for relaxing, and sizes of the bedrooms and beds is spacious. House is well decorated, and has all the accessories one needs. Its in a quiet neighborhood that's safe, with a suburban feel. Drive into French quarter is easy. Communication with the owner was easy, and he allowed a later check-out on our last day which was convenient. Thanks for a great stay.

Booked this place for us all to stay together, while we explore and party in Nola. The house was amazing, better then the photos! Big open, high ceilings…. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. So nice we spent one night in cooking and mingling. Huge 5*s from me and when ever returning to New Orleans I’m going to book this house again. Quiet neighborhood, having coffee on the porch in the mornings was everything. 😁❤️

Easy, Clean, and Away from the Craziness of the French Quarter
Immaculate home in a quiet neighborhood, with lots of space inside and out. Our host was very accommodating and easy to work with for the entire stay. Couldn't be happier!

The 4 bedroom layout and bathrooms worked well for family of six and baby. We heard lots of walking around upstairs. House is on main Road, so lots of street noise late at night and very early morning. No amenities, so be sure to pack all toiletries. A place to hang washcloth would be nice. We did not see any directions on how to work TV, finally realized no batteries in the remote. Kitchen minimally equipped. No kitchen knives and picked together glassware. Couches and curtains were dirty as well as corners in bathrooms. Lightbulbs burnt out or missing throughout. We didn’t spend much time in the home so it was okay.

This is my favorite stay in NOLA
This was “girlfriends trip 2.0” after we delayed our original booking in May 2020 due to the pandemic. We were so glad that Larry still had his property available and could plan this trip once we all got safely vaxxed and boosted. My girlfriends oooohed and aaahhhhed at the beauty, convenience and charm of this house. It was so satisfying to share it with five of my closest friends. A very comfortable place to stay with a host who is extremely considerate.

This place was beautiful!
Everything about this home was perfect! We wanted to spend some time in New Orleans over Christmas without being downtown and this place fit the bill! It was just about a ten minute drive to the touristy attractions and suburby enough to sit peacefully and drink coffee on the porch. There’s a nice market just up the street and even a little cafe a few blocks away. The Artisan is close and had great food! Russell’s Diner was near Lake Ponchartrain and was also amazing! Nightlife in Lakeview was a blast, with live music right on the water and also just a short drive! We traveled with our five adult children and this place was more than accommodating! There are 3 1/2 bathrooms! The beds are all kings and pretty comfy. The living room was big enough for all of us to lounge around and the dining room table was great for playing games! The place had that Louisiana charm we were looking for!

Beautiful Spacious Home
This year our friend group (4 couples) decided to do our annual trip without the children and celebrate an early Thanksgiving together. This home is more beautiful than the pictures convey with plenty of room for all 4 couples. Neighborhood is nice with a few places to walk, but only a 15 minute Uber/ Lift to the French Quarter. Larry was very accommodating to our needs around check in and check out.

Great neighborhood
The property worked very well for our extended family group, which included my ninety year old mother. Beds were comfortable, and the dining room table worked well for our meals and card games. We enjoyed breakfast at Aribi Food Store, recommended by the host, and enjoyed walks in the neighborhood.

Drive to rental a little sketchy but soon arrive in a quaint neighborhood. Walked to dining and local pub. Uber to French Quarter. Relaxing porch and evening after busy days.
