Great place to stay and be within 10-15 minutes of all the NOLA fun!
We had 4 adults staying in NOLA for early Super Bowl activities. Everything was within 10 to 15 minutes from the house. Public transportation is a block away. The beds were comfortable and the amenities were exactly what we needed. I would love to stay again!

The place was clean and attractive. It's a very old building, but has been upgraded, and more to come. The owner told me next is a new kitchen. We survived the 130 year storm kicking back. Quiet neighborhood. I would go back.

Host was great, communication was prompt and check in was a breeze. But...some issues we had was the bathroom door does not lock or close all the way. The 3 bedrooms are connected, meaning if you are in the 3rd bedroom you have to walk thru the other 2. Other than that the beds were comfortable and the porch cats were friendly:)

Perfect NOLA streetcar accessible stay!
We were in town as a girls group and had an amazing time! The neighborhood is super quiet, across the street from a school and safe. The street car is 500 feet from the house which made getting to the French Quarter so easy! The house was amazing - we slept well and felt right at home. We would 100% return and plan to! Genesis is amazing and I would recommend them as a host. Also the porch kitties were such a fun surprise! I miss them already.

Great communication and location
So many great things about this house. Parking in front of house, location was perfect to jump on and off a street car, close to restaurants and farmers market. Genesis was a fantastic host with excellent communication. Would definitely book again!

Overnight trip for Saints game
Communication was incredible. All questions answered promptly and professionaly. Plenty of space and very comfortable with a unique "shotgun" layout. Older neighborhood, rough streets, but that's New Orleans. Enjoyed our stay.

Close to all the action.
My family and I had a great time at this house. The property is very conveniently located. The street car stop is 500’ away. There are great places to eat just blocks away. The house is very clean and everything worked great. The beds were all very comfortable. The shower had great water pressure.

Awesome Weekend
Good location, just a short uber away from basically everywhere. Streetcar stop just a block away on Canal Street. Very clean plus it had everything we needed and more. Can’t wait to visit New Orleans again!

Decent stay, but in need of some improvement.
We had a decent stay overall. However, the home didn't match the photos in the listing. The listing photos depicted a cute, clean, and nicely decorated home, but it was a bit disappointing that this is not what we received. The home needs a thorough deep clean and an update in decor, as everything seemed worn and outdated. The neighborhood wasn't ideal for us, but it was close to the main attraction and we had easy access to the streetcar.

Beautiful house
We had a great stay. We arrived earlier than expected and the host was willing to work with us to get into the house a little early. We booked the house to stay in the night before our cruise. The location was great for all of our needs. We would definitely stay again if we ever make it back to NOLA.

Wonderful!!!
I would definitely stay here again! Very quiet neighborhood even with the high school across the street. If you like cats, you will see Emily and Mr. Rutherford who like to be fed and petted! This location is very close to restaurants, Whole Foods, a walking path, the street car and the airport. The host was VERY interactive (which I like) and we lucked up by being able to check in a little earlier. Highly recommended!

Mid City Magic!
This VRBO was perfect for my birthday trip with two friends! The location near the streetcar was ideal, the beds were super comfy, the ac was excellent, and the kitchen well stocked. Genesis was communicative before, during, and after our stay. I will definitely keep this spot in mind for my next trip to NOLA!

We had a wonderful experience. G was quick to respond and answered all of our questions in minutes. The house itself is very charming, with comfy beds and situated in an area with friendly neighbors. I absolutely recommend!

A gem in New Orleans
Our family found the perfect place to stay in New Orleans. Not only was this house in an excellent location (close to everything, yet in a quiet area), but it was spacious enough for our family and very clean. The check-in was contactless with the host checking in to make sure that everything was okay. The stay could not have been better. This house was a gem and gave us a taste of life in an iconic shotgun-style house in a regular New Orleans neighborhood. The neighborhood was quiet and everyone we encountered was nice. The house was well-stocked with supplies, and the beds were very comfortable. We opened the door to a house than smelled like it had been cleaned. I cannot think of a single complaint. This house will be our first choice for a return trip to New Orleans!
