“The house was great and just what we needed our quick birthday weekend celebration. This house is an easy drive from Boston, allowing friends to do a day trip. They met us at the house for a visit before we did an escape room and dinner in downtown Portsmouth. Due to the weather we opted to drive and park, but this would have been an easy walk.While we didn’t utilize the upstairs bedrooms they were nice. One thing to note the stairs were narrow and steep and our dog didn’t like to navigate...

“A group of us came up to get excited for the release of a book in one of our favorite fantasy series! We loved the house - plenty of common space, and also great private space for everyone in our party. It was so easy to get in touch with the host when needed. We had a wonderful weekend!”

“Very peaceful place with great sun sets & night skies; outdoor space is fantastic, even in the winter but indoors is a bit tight for 12 people & 3 dogs (2 bedrooms are tiny; 1 bedroom is next to oil tank w/o windows so not ideal hangouts; dining table is small requiring eating in shifts; plus hot water runs out after 1-2 showers and iron sediments may appear in the water!). If you don’t mind these nuisances (we didn’t) it’s an amazing place to spend time together … can highly recommend it! ”

“We stay. In Alton Bay each year for a couple of concerts at Bank of NH Pavilion in Gilford. We extend it by staying for a couple of days at Lake Winnipesaukee The motel is perfectly located close to the venue and on the lake for swimming and boating while visiting BNH Pavilion. The motel is in a pine grove and is lake front. It's "!old school " feel reminds of my childhood. It's clean and quite, but no thrills. The house was beautiful, there were plenty of beds and bathrooms for all of us, and we had the best time! Chelsi was also super great/quick with communication when I had a question!
