“This place is simply amazing. We had 4 adult, non-couple family members stay here for a family reunion. The den serves well as a third bedroom and the living room futon is perfect for one adult. Each person had their own space. Two bathrooms is the way to go. Will definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises. ”

“I like that it was set in a quiet neighborhood. But still conveniently located to the Dunes and Washington park. I would suggest bringing more bath towel. But other than that it was perfect for my son an i an we really enjoyed our stay.”

“Very cute place, walkable to all the fun things new Buffalo has to offer! It is quite loud being right on Buffalo rd with trucks zooming past but it was pretty perfect aside from that. The hosts left some goodies for us upon our arrival, which was appreciated and we used some of the beach stuff they had there for guests which was super helpful.”

“My fiance and I drove from Chicago to Harbert Michigan. We arrived an hour early so when I contacted Jocelyn she was very sweet to offer us to get into to our suite early. “While the inside was cozy and there was plenty to do, the beach was the huge win for us. It was clean, easy to get to, and absolutely beautiful. We are also so grateful we were able to bring our dog as she is a close part of the family and loved playing in the water and sand. She absolutely loved looking at herself in the mirror closet doors too! Thank you for letting us visit!”

Weather was April spring--cool but pleasant walking the beaches, exploring dunes, watching white waves, feeling the lake breeze. Michigan City is not just a summer vacation spot! We will come back!”

“We had a nice stay in this house. I didn’t realize it was on the second story of a building but that was fine for us. Couch wasn’t comfortable and the floor was uneven and very loud in spots. But the beds were comfortable! Loved that the garage was filled with beach supplies ! The location is nice too, there was a great breakfast spot 1 block away.”

If you have dogs that react to noise you'll want to be aware this space is one of 4 units in this lovely remodeled century home. We had to make the owner aware of an issue with the air conditioning not working and they promptly sent their handyman to save the day! “The downtown apartment was in an ideal location. We were within walking distance of restaurants and parks. As described, it is not much to look at from the outside, but the inside is spacious and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.”

“Place was nice with pool & hot tub access. Neighborhood rules are to be inside by 10pm which was kind of a buzz-kill since night swimming, hot tub or fire pit sitting are all enjoyable night-time activities. But it sounds like this isn't the hosts' rules but imposed upon them. If you want a private getaway this isn't it since the pool is shared with the house & camper. But it is just a couple minutes from the dunes & there is a pizza place literally around the corner.”
