PERFECT
Enjoyed our time at Drakes Cove. First part of our stay was during a tropical storm, but it was very relaxing nonetheless. My son took his boat and thoroughly enjoyed having it docked right there in the back yard all week. The house was immaculate. I really appreciated that. Will definitely stay again.

Grandma's 101st Birthday Party
The home was very comfortable and super clean. Everything worked well and we found all we needed. We'll probably be back again as a family in the future. Great Gathering
Great gathering location for family wedding. Enjoyed the golf cart parade for the 4th of July. Caught the fireworks show in New Bern. The community recreation center was fun - miniature golf, fitness room, pool, hot tub. We even got to listen to some live music while enjoying some food from the food trucks. Great restaurants in New Bern, and the pizza at Sara’s on Broad Creek Road was good too. Very enjoyable stay.

Perfect home for a group!
After a bad experience with another rental, Jacquie and her home was a breath of fresh air - literally! We walked into a home that was obviously freshly cleaned. It smelled clean as soon as we walked in. Cleanliness is top of my wishlist so i was immediately happy. The view from the deck is amazing! The yard is great for playng some yard games and there is even cormhole there. Lots of trees surrounding the home and it feels private even though you are in a neighborhood. The driveway is long and plenty big enough for several cars. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need. Every cabinet and drawer is labeled. The grill is big and nice. There are several common areas with tv's, puzzles, games, an arcade & seating. The bedrooms were comfortable and not crowded. The host was very kind and accomodating! We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend!!

Convenient
This is the second time we have stayed in this house. The location is perfect for our activities. Check-in and communication with the owner was great. People need to realize that the living area is on the second floor, so if stairs are an issue, you need to think about it. For us, it was great and we would stay there again.

Last hurrah before school
We had a WONDERFUL time on vacation! Fairfield Harbor is a great community that offers something for every age group. My kids range in age from almost 17-4, and they all had a great time! Fairfield Harbor has a golf course, 2 outdoor pools, 1 indoor pool, mini golf, pickle ball, basketball, 2 playgrounds and much more! The house was as pictured, was very clean, and Jacqueline was very prompt to respond to my questions. We definitely would return!

Excellent in Every Way
While the property is gorgeous, clean and located in a quiet and friendly community - it's the attention to every little detail that made our stay exceptional! Delightful signs with instructions for anything that could possibly come up during our stay and wifi password. Swift and friendly communication with the host. Beautiful view of the dock and large living spaces and decks. From excellent water pressure in the showers to a kitchen fully stocked with everything (but the food) to enjoy a meal with family and friends, this place was better than staying in a hotel! We're already planning our next stay.

Great Location to water and boat ramp access
The home was roomy and clean. All the little details were considered including provided games and toiletries. Back yard leads to private dock for your boat. Everyone loved the house and enjoyed their stay. We even got to access the clubhouse, and some enjoyed the indoor heated pool on a chilly day and mini golf. The host was very polite and ensured all are requests were fulfilled. We definitely would stay again.

Fantastic home in golfing/boating community
From our first look at the pictures of this house to the final contact with Jacquie, my friends and I were very impressed! The house was exactly as described and seen in pictures. Jacquie is the quintessential hostess - every light switch, cupboard and drawer was labeled for our ease in finding things. There was a basketful of snacks left for us to enjoy. There were night lights in almost every room and each closet was fully stocked with hangars. It may sound trivial but these were the attentions to detail that put the icing on the cake for us. Thank you so much Jacquie! We hope to return again!!
