Encaramado en una cresta boscosa, en la parte posterior de 100 acres de aproximadamente 150 años. antigua granja, esta espaciosa cabaña construida por Amish es el lugar ideal para sentarse y relajarse con amigos, familiares o simplemente con su media naranja. El Ashmoor Cabin, llamado así por su exterior desgastado y en forma de tronco, ha compartido senderos para caminatas en la propiedad que conducen a la cima de la colina, un pequeño arroyo y un estanque de pesca, el paisaje seguramente inspirará.

Wonderful Getaway
It was a very nice cabin. Very isolated. Very quiet and peaceful. WiFi was solid enough to watch movies and do some work. Host was extremely responsive. Great getaway! Highly recommend!

Great secluded comfortable cabin in the wooded hills
Cabin had everything we needed for a 6 night Hocking hills vacation. The Internet is a mobile hotspot device through ATT and barely had a signal similar to my ATT phone but worked with some buffering for the only small Roku TV they had in the main living area, heads up the written password for the Internet is not very clear but the hotspot will display the password clearly, we had tried multiple combinations and could not get signed in until I checked the hotspot display. Firewood they have on the back side for purchase was great and at $20 for five bundles was a great deal for the area and convenient. Sunday brunch at Lake Hope Lodge was fantastic. The driveway is gravel, switch back and steep in some areas, I used 4 wheel drive on my truck so I didn't disturb the gravel as much but I think I wouldn't have a problem with either of our small Volkswagens either. Most trails in Hocking hills are short and easy even with my activity challenged family lol. All of the falls in the area were just trickles if anything even after a very heavy full night of rain which sounded great on the roof, perfect for sleeping. We stayed Friday-Thursday then headed to Kings island for 2 nights at a Tru hotel in Mason and wished we hadn't and just stayed longer in the cabin, Harsh dose of reality when the first night in Mason your truck is one of 21 cars broken into in the Tru hotel parking lot, nothing taken but broke both passenger side windows. Would do it again minus the latter.

This is a nice cozy place to stay, away from all noise and it gives you some time to feel like its just you and your spouse out there. Inside was everything absolutely beautiful as well

Perfect couple's getaway
What a fantastic stay! The place was spotless and spacious, and the hot tub was the cherry on top. It's conveniently located near Hocking Hills State Park and a short drive to Athens. The only issue we had was the wifi. There is Wi-Fi, but it is a cellular hotspot device. Cell reception in the area is very spotty at best. But two days disconnected from the outside world isn't necessarily bad, especially in the beautiful wooded setting. Overall, it was an excellent stay; I'd stay here again.

A lovely respite!
My friend and I had a “girls weekend” and found the house to be ideal for a peaceful get-away. The living areas feel bright and airy, with nice windows by day and plenty of lights at night, and a high, sloped ceiling. We enjoyed dinner at Lake Hope lodge which is just a short drive away, and unloaded our cooler into the full-sized fridge for other meals. We found everything we needed and some great extras, like the dishwasher, luggage racks in both rooms, lots of hooks and pegs to hang things on and “bouncy” patio chairs. Seating under the porch and on the side deck provides options for shade or sun, and watching the wildlife was very peaceful. If you like loads of trees, you’ll see them out every window here! I’ll definitely be back.

Great girls getaway
The cabin was great! We loved the atmosphere and the privacy of the cabins. We were looking for a few days off the grid and this cabin was perfect for our getaway. It was very clean and the beds were comfy. We brought our own DVD player but there was a smart TV for streaming. I will definitely be staying here again.
