Quaint country cottage
We enjoyed our long weekend in this welcoming and well-appointed country home on a hill. Every detail was thought out and there were so many nice touches. The decor was tasteful and perfectly suited for a Nashville area cottage. We spent a lot of time on the huge porch beneath the fans while the kiddies caught and releasef fireflies. The beds were very comfortable and the layout was great for our family of six. Very peaceful and quiet neighborhood. Portland people are friendly and polite. Our hostess Dottie was terrific.

Great half way to meet with family
Beautiful little home in the countryside, By the decor i would say there's a connection to" Chip and Joanna Gaines hoast of the fixer upper" absolutely gorgeous! So enjoyed our little weekend get away,perfect halfway place to meet up with family from Alabama, very accommodating and comfortable for us 3 older ladies and 5 teens. Close to many attractions for all to enjoy, and yet a quiet place to sit out under covered wrap around pouch, reminiscing and enjoying the wildlife of fhe countryside with family. Definitely a 5 star ! We will most definitely stay again and highly recommend the beautiful home

Great Place
We enjoyed our stay at this house and were very comfortable. The home was very clean, nicely appointed and decorated, and had everything we needed. We loved sitting on the western side of the porch and listening to the sounds of nature both in the morning and after a day in the city. Dotti (the homeowner) was very nice, instantly responsive to us, and she answered all the questions we had. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely House; Great Experience
Stayed at Porchland with my children when in Nashville for a visit. We loved the house and the location. Very clean. Beds comfortable. The bathrooms are absolutely gorgeous. We loved the porches and built a fire in the fire pit. The hosts were extremely communicative and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. Also, it’s a part of the greater Nashville area I wasn’t familiar with and very nice and quiet. But it’s also an easy 40 minute drive to downtown if you really want to see that too. Absolutely perfect for us. You can’t go wrong with Porchland. Highly recommend.

Porchland For Christmas
This was a great place to stay and visit with our oldest daughter for Christmas and we were able to bring along our dogs, which was great! Place is conveniently located to Nashville and Kentucky, plenty of room, and very clean. Loved the Porch! We will probably be using this cottage again! Thank you so much, the Christmas decorations were a nice touch =)

Astonishing Property
2 sisters here, both retired and well traveled. This property is hands down our favorite. Ever. Anywhere. Warm, welcoming, thoughtful decor inside and out. Easy to find and access. Most thoughtfully well stocked home we have ever rented. We have family in Portland and have rented many properties in the area. This will be our first choice from now on. We may even make a few extra trips(long drives for 2 "older" girls) just because of this home! Thank you for creating a beautiful welcoming home away from home!!

Great Stay!
This was one of the best for us. There was not one thing that this property lacked to make us more comfortable. The location was perfect for our event, close but far enough to have that secluded feel. The host was very helpful. Although we didn’t have much time we we able to enjoy the fire ring out back, it was a very nice amenity .We would definitely stay again!

Very nicely appointed home. We were all very impressed. Quiet area, lovely views. We even saw a small herd of deer eating acorns just outside the window. Everything you need if you're preparing your own food. It is about 10-15 minutes either way to a grocery store. I would highly recommend this location.
