Everything and More
4 nights in September is just not enough. Beautifully serene among the hills. Our dog loved the room to roam and run. Ill rate the owner as a top ten. Hes great!! We will be back next year if its available to rent again. Thank you so much.Matt & Diana '24a top 10.

Beautifully peaceful and quiet weekend
Great house for the weekend! fishing in the pond, kayaked from boat ramp to waterfall, hiked from property to waterfall, ate in Somerset & Columbia, comfortable bed upstairs, great views of nature. Couldnt get charcoal grill hot enough to cook the steaks with what little coals were left, kitchen window doesnt lock and upstairs bath leaks into downstairs bedroom.

Amazing Property!
This was an absolutely fabulous and beautiful place. The house was clean and cozy and well taken care of. Plenty of space. The land was so peaceful. The views of the woods, lake, and waterfall were amazing. My mother is ordained and we decided to get married in the gazebo. It was perfect and intimate.

Perfect place to get away
This is the perfect place to get away from it all. The gazebo, wrap around porch, and balcony are the perfect places to relax and listen to the waterfall & nature! The living room, bedrooms & bathrooms were all clean and tidy. The outside lighting is perfect. The drive is a bit bumpy down a steep driveway. Justin is an awesome host and replies quickly to any questions/concerns. The house is cozy and essentials like toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, dishwasher pods & laundry pods are provided. There is a local “grocery” store (about 3 miles away) that has a little of everything & even has a deli, ice cream, sandwiches & pizza.

Middle of nowhere fun!
This is a great stay if you want somewhere without modern technology. Beautiful property and home, great for outdoors fun. WARNING: the owners are not lying when they tell you to get a nice speed going up the hill to leave property. STEEP HILL! Also know that there is not immediate access to lake. It is just from viewing distances only. The closest town is quite a while away even though it's only like 11 miles it will take 20-30 minutes to get there. WiFi is essentially non existent. So keep this in mind if you will be bringing small children and pre teens. Half wanted to explore land while the tween used up all the service. I also could only get WiFi calling which is very spotty. All in all a pleasurable stay with the owner getting back to me immediately with every message I sent him! A++++ hosts!

Lake Cumberland Relaxation
Justin was excellent in his response to questions before our arrival and recommended a marina for boat rentals. The recommendation was on target and we had great days on the lake. The house was comfortable to return to and just relax! The bedroom accommodations were perfect for three generations of family. Great stay!

Beautiful property!
We really enjoyed our stay. The home was beautiful, the property is beautiful. The only negative thing I would have to say is the driveway is very rough without AWD or 4WD and also the kids were really excited about the fishing pond on the property but there was only a small area that was accessible to fish from the weeds have really grown up around it. But overall, we really enjoyed our time here. It is very close to a nearby beach that we visited while there.

Two-Family getaway
The house was beautiful and clean. The property was great for night walks and hanging out. The waterfall is a little difficult for some to access I would say, but if you can, it is a great view! The beds were some of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. Everything we needed was available to us. As stated in the listing, the driveway is best suited for 4WD vehicles, but if you don't have that, you just have to maintain good speed going up. The host had great communication and was very helpful. Would definitely stay again!

Off the beaten path
Perfect home off the beaten path. Quite, clean, safe, perfect for family time. Host is very responsive if any needs arise. We chose this spot because of its centrality to the things we wanted to do and see. It’s about an hour to two hour drive from caves, the ark, and tons of hiking trails. We brought our own kayaks and felt completely safe leaving them at the house when not in use. Great stay and everything we were looking for.
