"Shirl's Shores" es un bungalow de playa clásico de 4 habitaciones y 2 baños, arreglado con 2 dormitorios / 1 baño a cada lado separados por una gran sala de estar central abierta. Es perfecto para 1 o 2 familias. Capacidad para 8 personas, con camas de matrimonio en 3 habitaciones y 2 camas gemelas en la 4 ª. Esta cabaña ha sido propiedad de la misma familia desde 1980 y ha sido disfrutada como un sitio de vacaciones por muchas familias y pescadores a lo largo de los años. Esta es la primera vez que el propietario ofrece la propiedad para alquilarla. Queremos que disfrutes de una verdadera experiencia de playa. La ubicación es ideal para amantes de la naturaleza y amantes de la playa. (Milepost 21) - el lado sur de S. Nags Head-close al centro de pesca de Oregon Inlet. Teniendo en cuenta la ubicación ideal, las tarifas son realmente valiosas. De acuerdo con el objetivo de "fijación de precios de la economía", las sábanas no son estándar. Los huéspedes traerían sus propias sábanas (3 reinas, 2 gemelas) y toallas. Se proporcionan colchas, almohadas, mantas y colchones. We had a great week! The house was perfect and consistent with pictures and description in the listing. Well equipped kitchen with lots of seating at the island. We got plenty of use and appreciated the outdoor shower. Easy walk to and from the beach. Becky was friendly and met with us at check in. Appreciate the personal touch, especially compared to the rental companies!

Nags Head Get Away

This is our second summer in this house. Steps to the beach, great layout in the house. My daughter and her family had their wing while my husband and I had ours. Big surprise this year was the new kitchen and island — everything was perfect. Becky and Shirley are the best hosts! Highly recommend.

3rd year staying here

This was the third year our family stayed at Shirl's Shores. Communication is excellent. The house floor plan is great: open living room/kitchen/eat in island. Two bedrooms and a bathroom are on one side of the house and another two bedrooms and a bathroom on the other side. The kitchen has been recently updated with new cabinets and countertops - so pretty. It's a short stroll to the beach. The neighborhood is family/pet friendly. Restaurants and shopping is about 10 - 15 minutes away. The town of Duck is a little farther away but worth the trip to find all of the shops and bookstores. I recommend Shirl's Shores for a family friendly vacation.

Rainy vacation

Located in South Nags Head a short drive to the main strip. The house layout was great with bedrooms and bath on each side separated by the living area. A short walk to the beach it was the perfect location. Unfortunately the weather was not our friend but I recommend this beach house for a Nags Head getaway.

Family Vacation

I booked the stay to celebrate my 50th birthday with my 3 kids (20, 18, 15) & my son’s girlfriend (also 18). We had a wonderful time. The location was perfect and convenient for relaxing, shopping, site seeing, and being on the beach. The house was cozy, stocked with kitchen equipment, and the washer and dryer were in perfect condition.

Wonderful stay!

I cannot say enough nice things about our stay at this home. The location is great! It was such an easy walk to the beach down a quiet little street, just 4 houses from the beach. The beach was not busy when we visited during prime season. We were also close enough to the protected seashore areas that we could explore away from all of the more crowded areas. Becky (the owner's daughter) was incredibly nice and very willing to help when we had a minor issue. The house was clean and well laid out. The outdoor shower was clean and so nice to have. Our party was all family (3 couples and a child under 5) and we had plenty of room for everyone to hangout and even eat at the same table. Thank you Becky (and Shirley) for a wonderful week! We are excited to come back in years to come.

Perfect!!

We stayed in the cottage for a week and it could not have been more perfect for us . The location is extremely convenient , away from all the hustle & bustle but just close enough if you needed to go anywhere for anything . Walking distance to the ocean which was great ! This place is beautiful and the neighborhood is clean and friendly ! These are some of the best hosts I’ve ever had ! Thank you for sharing your place with us ! We had an amazing time !

Relaxing!

Shirl's Shores was perfect! Location was a short walk to the beach. Close to shopping for gifts and groceries. Plenty of room for 4 adults and our pets. Plenty of walking paths. The trip to see the wild horses on the beach at Corolla was wonderful. The weather was cool and windy but it didn't stop us enjoying OBX! The bedrooms were comfortable, kitchen stocked with what we needed to prepare our meals, no problems with wifi. Communication with owners and checkin was smooth. Neighborhood was quiet. I recommend Shirl's Shores to any family looking for a comfortable place to spend a week at OBX. We are already planning our trip for next year.
