Very cute cottage, with enough space for the 4 of us to have some privacy as needed, but lots of fun activities to do together. The beds were comfortable, rooms were a good size. We enjoyed the fire pit and the use of the kayaks, paddle boat and canoe--the lake is small, yet serene, and it was really nice to explore.
Bring your bug spray to ward off the mosquitoes and deer flies!
There were some nice amenities--k-cups, fixings for smores, bathroom had extra toothbrush/paste for those who may have forgotten as well as shampoo/conditioner/body wash in the shower. The smart TV could access most subscription services, so that was nice when we needed some down time.
A couple of things to note: When we arrived we had to take care of cleaning some things we thought probably should have been taken care of, including the dock that was covered with days old goose droppings. Part of the checkout process asks that we clean up. The cottage would benefit from a new broom, a light floor vac or pads for the swiffer in the closet. A couple of the trees in between the cottage and lake are dead and we had a large limb randomly fall while we were outside. This was quickly attended to by Ryan (he was super responsive and very nice), the guest contact, but those dead trees are a liability waiting to happen. Finally, this is not a fishing spot for anyone hoping to fish from the dock or on this lake. That may improve in the future when more fish are addd but not through the end of this summer.
