You get what you pay for
To start off we didn’t not call or contact the property because this was a one night stay half way to our final destination so we where only there for 12 hours.
1) Check in was easy and friendly
2) Most of our linens had black stains or rust marks on them.
3) The ceiling corner you could tell had previous water damage and they never fully treated it or painted over the damaged areas.
4) There where food crumbs on the carpet upon checking in.
5) The air conditioning vents/coils had dust about 1/2 thick all over. Air conditioners are not optional in July in Myrtle Beach so that was all being circulated around the room for us to breath in.
6) The furniture was sticky and had like a gray film as though it hadn’t properly been scrubbed in a while just wiped down quickly.
7) The vending machines are not refrigerated and ice is not available.
8) The balcony view was beautiful. However, the balcony is only a chairs with wide, totally not a dealbreaker just something to mention, in case you were expecting a larger balcony.
Overall, there seem to be a lack of upkeep and detailed cleaning. Upon walking into the unit, it smelled fresh. At first glance it looked clean.
As a sidenote, in case you’re not familiar with Myrtle Beach, this is at the far end of Myrtle Beach away from most of the attractions and restaurants, you will need to get in your vehicle to go to the attractions and restaurants.
